Funny how people are getting upset about TBC item nerf, that happened during TBC. Only difference they are making here is that they are implementing nerfs they did in TBC from the start. Also only reason why those "broken-ish" items were fun is because you discovered loophole with them. Now everything is so documented and overanalyzed that it wouldn't even be about that, it would only be about just how much you can abuse and break game. We aren't back in TBC anymore, it is 2021, you can't erase more than decade if memories and experience with game. Same as with Classic, where people were dreaming of how bosses will take long time to defeat and in reality it took no time, because we are long past vanilla time. :-DJust saying, I don't agree with everything Blizzard does, like having level boost shop is definitely something I hate. But this really isn't much of an issue, they aren't implementing modern WoW changes. They are putting TBC changes in TBC Classic.
The title of the article is misleading; this is a recap of why things were changed back in 2007. There aren't any new changes listed here.
This post is very misleading at first glance. These are changes made in VANILLA, not Classic WoW. I feel like half the drama surrounding WoW currently can be tied back to a murky Wowhead post lol.
Majority, if not all of these changes were implemented in 2007 originally. Not to mention, anything that was not 'nerfed' 14 years ago is rightfully so now. 14 years ago we played games to come together and have fun. (Most of us.) Fadt forward to the present, (2021.) Common mentality amongst a big majority is either win or it's not fun. What? Today's gamers have more fun trolling and ruining other players experiences. Competitive gaming is not what it started out as many years ago. Its evolved into a rather toxic side of gaming and brings out the nasty side in a lot of people.
I am ok with this
The other day I remembered Burning Crusade. That was my childhood. In my opinion, the most interesting version of everything that happened. Fire mage for me has always been the strongest in pve and pvp, and rogue. I remember that i had rogue , and I had Illidan's knives, and I don't know why they decided to nerf those items and then I remember that many complained. The other day I downloaded this game again and found the site https://wowcarry.com/wow where I found the boy's account with firemage , and I went in to play a little. What emotions I had, how many memories I had with this game . I think everyone understands what emotions I'm talking about.
