Drops from Kael'thas Sunstrider in heroic Magisters' Terrace.

Slightly more DPS than the Halazzi shoulders, and you have 3x as many chances to go and get them. They don't look fancy (black/red Assassination) but expect to see them on many Rogue and Druid shoulders.

For a rogue that is still in Kara where do these rate against Bladed Shoulderpads of the Merciless(when socketed with 2x 8 hit gems) https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=28755 ?

I just got these today and imo I find them better than T5 shoulders. Cant go wrong with 23 hit rating :)

These shoulders are a lot better than the Karazhan ones, even when accounting for the 2 sockets, same with the ZA shoulders, the large amounts of agi easily offset the sockets and crit rating of the Karazhan shoulders.

I don't think this is correct. Bladed Shoulderpads of the Mercilles are still better thanks to the 2 sockets for +8 hit gems.

As with all pieces of gear, the only comparison you can make is by looking at your own stats, and see where you are lacking.

The chance to hit increases by 1% per 15.77 hit rating points at level 70.

Compared to Bladed Shoulderpads of the Merciless with 2 x +8 hit gems (which gives them 32 Hit Rating), these have:

+39 Attack Power
-0.57 Hit Chance (-9 Hit Rating)
-0.075 Crit Chance (ya rly, lol math ftw)
(and then +2 sta and +23 AC)

So in the end, it's up to your current values and chances of getting other gear in the near future.

On a personal note, I am currently looking forward to getting these to mix and match with other gear (got Bladed Shoulderpads of the Merciless).

according to max dps this shoulder outlasts the dps from the one from kara and the one from za as a combat rogue

People, please... don't fall victim to the SACRIFICE EVERYTHING FOR HIT! mantra that some rogues have in their heads. An upgrade is an upgrade. This belief comes from the rogue forums where most posters took theory craft, turn it into a personal affair, and then judge people based on the amount of hit they have.

An easy comparison is, the kara shoulders have an item level of 115. These have 125. They have much more stat value, and you gain more if anything from the pure agi rather then "ratings" stats.

You also can't really look at one item by itself. You need to know what you need to help upgrade you as a whole. That's why spreadsheets are important. It helps you determine if that one piece of gear is an upgrade.

In this case, I believe these are a nice upgrade over the chess event ones. No more hit is the only stats rogues have drabble, please

Are those shoulder better then the T4 ones? what do u say guys? IMO i say yea but i m in a dilema here cuz i have them on and just got the T4 last night.

From a rogue standpoint, based off of the AEP values on EJ for a combat swords rogue in T4-level gear (This is counted as T5, but the only difference is higher EP for both, the result is the same)

This is a pretty big upgrade over T4 rogue shoulders assuming you've socketed them with +8 hit. If you're going to lose the 2-pc, it's probably not an upgrade, but you should double check by running it through your spreadsheet first. I'm not sure on the AEP value of the 4-pc, but since it doesn't stack with Ruthlessness it's probably still an upgrade.

Better then the tier 4 and ZA shoulders and on par with the T5 shoulders IMO. They look like assassination shoulders with a red lining
