A very good place to farm these seems to be death's door in Blade's edge mountains.
The demons there (the ones with swords, don't remember their name) have a very high drop rate... Somewhere between 33 and 50%.

I farmed these for maybe 30 minutes and came out with 22 marks and 1 fel armament. 900 rep with aldor in 30 minutes.

There are plenty of demons and the respawn rate is very good. I think at least 3 or 4 people can farm there without running out of demons.

There is a druid in bird form flying around, you can call him by using a flare which you got from someone (don't know who). He will give you some quests.

There is also a mine that spawned as adamantite once and khorium twice during the short period i was there.

Tried every place in Outland-killing the Wrathwalkers found all around Legion Hold in Shadowmoon Valley (around 23,38) is the best way to find items for Aldor reputation. They are very common, are found close together, have a high drop rate of mark of sargeras, respawn fast, and have very very low hp.

good place for farm marks - Arklon Ruines in Netherstorm (40, 73) near Area 52

Artifact Seeker - 30% drop-rate, but it has a bad ability "mana burn", so u must stun/silence them fast. "spell lock" - will silense u too. best place for non-mana classes.

I think best place is Netherstorm by the Felblade guys and the little demon doggy guys. Lower right-ish corner, around the area of (39,72).
Been killing there for like 10 minutes or so, either I've been getting lucky or they have like a (8 marks per 10 kills) 8:10 ratio.

Also, don't bother farming these until after the Mark of Kil'Jaeden marks stop working.

Farmed the Artifact Seekers in the Arklon Ruins for about an hour today. I came out with around ~50 Tokens and ~2 Armaments. I would reccomend you farm here if your going for exalted. Not many people around, however the usual quester warping in the Objects around there or getting the peice of the Archmage Staff.

I think the buyout price should be checked up on I've found that the minimum b/o is 50s, but that may just be on my server. 3s to 50s just seems like a real stretch, can anyone put up some prices on their server?

Death Door in BEM is best place I think to farm Marks of Sargeras. I tried to farm at ruins near Area 52 but there is 3 problems: mobs can aoe stun, mana burn, spell lock; mobs got low drop rate; they drop a mark or don't anything.

Will you continue to be allowed to turn in after you get Exulted with Aldor and receive Shat'tar rep?

(I will attempt this to see on my main (who is Exulted with Scryer, but not Shat'tar)

If not can you do the turn in to back down your Aldor faction without losing the Shat'tar faction at the same time? Then resume turning in more for more Shat'tar rep. For that matter is it possible to become Exaulted with Shat'tar simply by turning in until Honored and then 'bouncing' the Aldor rep back down and then turning in more repeating the process until you are exaulted with Shat'ar. If possible, it would allow you to be exaulted with Shat'tar prior to reaching level 70 and ever stepping foot into TK.

Folk not caring about alternate faction loss and who want honored Sha'tar reputation as early as possible (before completing Sha'tar Quests for example) could alternatively hand in /(Aldor) or / (Scryer). It is worth noting that one cannot pass 5999/6000 Friendly reputation with Sha'tar through Aldor/Scryer turn-ins by any means. To actually hit honored one must kill a mob in a Tempest Keep instance or do a quest rewarding Sha'tar reputation.

To be able to validate quests 10653 or 10654, so to give your marks, you must before have validated the three following quests :

Allegiance to the Aldor : https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=10551 (starting near Khadgar)

City of Light : https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=10211 (starting near Khadgar)

A'dal : https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=10210 (starting near Haggard War Veteran)

Make sure too that you don't have another quest in progress asking for these marks or you won't be able to give them to Adyen the Lightwarden (like quest "Marks of Sargeras" :

I did around 30k of rep between both characters here in the last month getting both up to exalted by grinding on the warlocks summoning around the pylons in Legion Hold out in SMV. They have an extreme respawn timer that, if farmed quickly or by more than 1 person, they can repop as soon as they die making looting a bit tricky at times. Avoiding the roaming Elite is rather easy and warlocks would just solo kill it to remove that issue.

As a BM hunter, I was able to grind on the far west pylon while others did the other 2 for upwards of 20-30 min without a break. In two 1 hour sessions, I was able to walk away with about 50-80 marks + 5-9 Fel armaments.

The warlocks have around 6k health and can go down pretty easy to a DPS class. I suggest grinding here if it's not already camped.

Best place I would say is Legion Hold in Shadow Moon Valley, I farmed for a hour get about 40-45 sargeras and 2-3 fel armament somtimes, I even gotten lucky and had some blue drops. Also youll pile up with alot netherweave at the end.

GL farming almost exalted yay!

I also recommend the demons inside the Arklon Ruins in Netherstorm for Marks of Sargeras, Fel Armaments and Fel Hide, not to mention tons of Knothide Leather. The droprate isn't better than anywhere else, but the respawn-rate is quick, not to mention that the Mobs here are complete push-overs. After 2.5 hours I generally exit with 3 stacks of Fel Hide, 10-14 Fel Armaments and always over 100 Marks plus a few Greens for Enchanting Materials.
Casters beware, the Artifact Hunters have a Manaburn.
These mobs aren't about quality, they are volume, volume, volume...

Another good and easy place it's the mine under Manaforge Ara, in Netherstorm, northwest to Area 52.
There are Gan'arg and Mo'arg that are easly killed even with poor equip and have a decent rate of drops. Plus, many adamantite spawning points. In one hour of grinding i come out with 30 marks 2 Fel armaments a heap of Adamantite and a couple of green that i DE. There is a demon at the end, that is involved in a quest, but it's no way harder than the other mobs, and some Blood Elf with "miniWV" minions.

Shadow Council Warlocks are the absolute best mobs for Aldor rep. Same drop rate as any other mob, but they have very low life (only 5kish). In addition, they have an extremely fast respawn rate so you'll never run out of them. They can be found in the southern part of Legion Hold near all the infernals. Just watch out for the wandering elite and you'll have your rep in no time.

Personally I found the best place to farm these at is Legion Hold (click for map) in Shadowmoon Valley. A decently geared level seventy should be able to kill several demons without the need for a break in this area.

The small chunk of land floating to the west of Forge Base Gehenna in Netherstorm has served me very well with these marks as well as Fel Armaments. Coords 30,14; Netherstorm. Happy farming!

In response to Xani's post about the drop rate around 39,73 in Nether, I'd estimate the drop rate at about 1 in 10. Furthermore, the Artifact Seekers most often drop absolutely nothing. An occasional mote of mana, that's it. Terrible grinding spot.

30.17 best grinding place about an 80% drop rate from wrath lords and I got 3 fel armaments after 20 kills, in Netherstorm.

There is a great grinding spot in Netherstorm! 39 73.

Fel Armament come about every 50 kills.
Mark of S drops approximately every 4 kills.

Deathforge Over-Smith at 64,71 Blade's Edge Mountain (Death's Door) have been dropping. I killed 3 over-smiths and got 2 marks. the drop rate on allakhazam must not be accurate. about 70% for me so far.

Kil'jaeden stops when you reach honored, can turn them in at 70 if you're friendly or below. Sargeras goes all the way to end.

> FA droprate approx 2.25%
> Ratio of MoS:FA = 11.11:1

Marks needed:
> MoS = 604 (15100rep) / 551 (human)
> FA = 54 (18900rep) / 49 (human)
> Total = 34000rep

which translates to Total Kills of:
> 2416 / 2204 (human)

Bored at work & had to appear busy (with MS Excel) :D

In Manaforge Ara there is the Mine, i usually grind my rep there because i havent had luck w/ the artifact seekers,a and since they nerfed Legion Hold wrathwalkers, i dont go there either. Manforge is best for me so far.

Considering other places I have grinded for Aldor Rep, I have found Manaforge Ara Tellium Mine to be the best, i grinding 11 MoS and 4 Fel Armaments in under 20 min

Trade them for Sunfury Signets (Scryer equivalent), there's usually someone wanting to trade so just pop a message in trade channel.

Mark of Kil'Jaeden-> Firewing Signet
Mark of Sargeras-> Sunfury Signet
Fel Armanent-> Arcane Tome

farming marks on a miner char, Trelleum mine is probably the best place to go. I set a goal of 100 marks for myself, and it took about 4 hours. I walked away with 102 marks, 12 fel arms, 76 adamantite ore 1 blue gem, 8 various green gems, 38 arcane dust and 14 greater planar essences (from deing the massive ammounts of green drops.) encountered 3 other players during that time, all opposite faction (horde), no agression from either side. Also picked up a dozen signets, but I avoided killing the 5 blood elf spawns unless there was ore behind them. coulda tripled the signet count with no more effort. coin drops are from 9s and change to 20s and change, averaging prolly 15s or so.. which is plenty to cover your ammo expenses if you are a hunter, which I am. That's about all there is to know about this place, so I'm out. Good luck with your factioning to all of you :)

BTW if you dont want to grind demons etc for these marks, you can aswell kill the sunfury people (blood elves) in various manaforges at netherstorm for sunfury marks and arcane tomes and trade them to Aldor items with other players :)

I've got about 40ish marks and 3-8 tomes per hour grinding plus 100 or so netherweave cloth and greens+other random drops, never had any probs trading them to marks i need with guild or random ppl at trade channel.

I'v found a really good spot to farm these in Netherstorm. A place called Trelleum Mine just underneath Manaforge Ara (25,44).
I cleared the cave out and by the time i made it back outside i had collected over 20 marks.

Hey guys, how about, instead of Bickering over who's math is right and who's isnt, adding some useful information like where to grind it at.

I found that in Shadowmoon valley

22,33

the mobs there drop it quite often.

Mark of the Sareras have a 20-25% drop off them and Fel Armament drop 3% of the time off them.

There is a lvl 68 elite that pats the area, but he is slow and is easy to avoid. you can kill him if you want but he drops nothing but a few silver.

Now you guys can all post on what my % are and how they are wrong or right, but so far I have seen no other post that gives any clue on where to grind or a % rate on drops.

BTW 2+2,3+1,4+0,1+3,& 0+4 all equal 4. so plz take the "I'm right and you're wrong" post somewhere else. Thottbot was made to help ppl quest and farm, and those types of post do nothing to help. They just fill the forum with a lot of trash and make the rest of us have to scroll further to get any useful info.

I used to farm these off the Wraithwalkers in SMV but I recently discovered the Shadow Council Warlocks ( https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=21302/shadow-council-warlock ) have about the same drop % but they're grouped together so you don't have to run around the whole Western side of the map to grind 'em. They also have a very fast respawn. Just watch out for the elite :D (he's very predictable though).

Turning in 10 Mark of Sargeras gives you +250 Aldor rep, +125 Sha'tar rep (until 5999/6000 Friendly) and -275 Scryers rep.
