Although there's a lack of stacks, the proc for this is amazing!

It can proc more than once pe swing (Often getting 3-4, 5 was my highest ).

And then the beauty hits. The damage dealt is physical. This may not sound like much, but imagine four procs on a sitting mob. Taking into account they ALL crit, due to sitting, taht's around 1500-2000 damage, depending on stats.

Wonderfull weapon, imo. Truely worth the DKP (Although my guild didn't do DKP in 20mans, so it was even more of a steal!)

I got this in a ZG run with my guild, I wasnt too happy after getting it, I ended up switching back to the Ice Barbed Spear way better stats with the ice barbed

Its lackluster. its all about the proc which is hit or miss. if its a dps upgrade from what you have then its good but the lack of passive stats hurts this item alot.

Hi all,

I have this Hammer and I ran some stats. Did about 50 fights. These are just rough numbers that I used from the Recap Addon.

Proc Rate is approximate: 8%
Average Proc Damage: 150 damage (this takes in account armor).
Average Hammer Damage: 210 Damage
Total Averaage Damage: 250 Damage

Also my DPS on this ran at 176 DPS.
My high Critical so far with hammer is 1300 damage. (my overall with a Hammer of Titans is 3300 dmg)

I am a 60 Warrior with 31/5/15 Build.

I added a +15 STRENGTH Enchant

Shaman (Restoration, 11/11/29); I won this 2H mace unopposed in a ZG run the other night. I think it is one of the best weapon models I have seen in the game. Currently I have +7 dmg Enchant on it (making the DPS 58.5) and I am trying to decide on Crusader or +15 Strength.

After I won this item, the Zulian Stone Axe dropped, and our Hunter took that weapon, an excellent upgrade. I whispered my friend, "That is better than the Epic I just got!" But he replied that the Proc could make the difference. So I went out into the field solo with my calculator and clock to try and calculate the proc rate. What I found made me very excited about this weapon.

I calculated the total damage from the Proc "Jeklik's Crushing Blow" (J) divided by the length of the battle in seconds (t), i.e.,
J � t = P (where P is the average dps of the Proc). I measured several dozen battles, in which I was also healing myself and casting Frost Shock and Flame Shock, and found P to equal anywhere from 5.5-9.7 points of damage per second.

The largest amount of data that I used actually resulted in the figure of 9.7 DPS for the Proc. Even if you took the average of the range, 7.5 DPS, that still gives the weapon a new overall DPS of 64, although I think over time the total weapon DPS (base DPS + Proc DPS) will be shown to be closer to 65.

However, calculations in a previous post suggest a Proc rate of 8% (.08) and a Proc damage value of 150 (the same figure I found). If the Proc rate is a value of time, and not swings, it suggest a DPS of 12 for the Proc (.08*150=12). The Proc seems to be a factor of merely time, and not swings of the weapon itself. Sometimes the Proc would suddenly fire 3 times in a row between swings. Each Proc, at 200-220 opints of damage, is equivalent to an extra landed attack blow.

I had one battle where the Proc alone did over 800 points of damage in 20 seconds (40 DPS) and another sustained battle where the Proc did 1350 damage over 85 seconds (16 DPS). The average Proc amount was for 150 damage, and in a 30 second battle that one Proc has added 5 DPS to the weapon. If the Proc fires a few times, which occured often, you are experiencing a Proc DPS of 15 or greater. Wow.

I still need to go back and calculate P using all the data, as well as redoing this experiment while not using any attacks other than Jeklik's Crusher. Nevertheless, the DPS of this weapon must be viewed as being closer to 65, putting it in the DPS category of the Obsidian Edged Blade (although without the +42 strength) =).

Over the weekend I performed more extensive tests with this weapon in which I used no other means of damage to the mob. I am a 60th level Shaman (11/11/29) with Windfury 4 cast on Jeklik's Crusher.

In extensive testing (well over 100 1 vs. 1 combats against 56th level and higher mobs) using a timer and calculator I determined that the Jeklik's Crushing Blow proc adds 8.5 DPS on average to Jeklik's Crusher, making the average base DPS of the weapon 65.

The "on average" means that sometimes Jeklik's Crushing Blow will do 800 points of additional damage in one 30 second battle and sometimes it will do none. But averaged over many, many battles you can count on 510 additional points of damage per minute.

Jeklik's Crusher is an excellent DPS weapon, and I highly recommend using it that way. I recommend enchanting Jeklik's Crusher with either +15 Strength (for base damage increase), +15 Agility (for increased critical strike chance) or Crusader.

I got this from ZG a few days ago, and I'm kind of dissapointed.
The proc rate is ridicilously low, and it often procs for ~135 dmg..

Perhaps the rumour is true.. blizzard nerfed the procrate on this weapon (either that or I'm in constant unlucky modus when I use the mace).

Got it at my first Jeklik kill and won with 79 roll ^^ procced on first hit and twice in the next 5 min. I'm really happy with it! hits for 225 - 275 each hit!

rofl, that mace is pure crap, the dps is stupid as hell it has like 8 dps more than my 1h, this is the 2nd more useless EPic 2h in the game

I have both: Zulian stone axe and this so-called "epic". And as I see axe is much much better. It has higher DPS and some nice stats whether the hammer has only this 8.5% proc. Blizzards sometime ago wrote that no superior quality item must be better than epic quality item. So I hope they will fix this item to be really epic

Im a Shaman (11 enhancement/40 resto) and got it this pass week end.. no one wanted to roll on it, was not gona let it get d/e!

With wf, it proc. twice and got two crit for 347 dam (weapon desc. says 200-220 dam)! so 5 hit for 1914 dam total in one swing! and that's not the best it can do :)

gona respec to enhancement eventually and get some bad-ass enchant on it! gona rock!

I'll admit, this is my first piece of epic equipment. I'm an Arms Warrior (31/5/15 MS build) and this dropped during a ZG run. I'm not a typical Mace user, but a Guildie persuaded me to take the weapon.

I'm certainly glad he did. Against one of the other bosses I was averaging close to 300 DPS- 800-900 white-damage crits, and Overpower/Mortal Strike crits well over a thousand. The thing about the weapon proc is that it's considered a second physical attack- so it can crit and cause Deep Wounds, or it can be dodged. Against one ZG mob I got an 830 damage crit, but the proc was dodged; I Overpowered for 900, and the proc scored a crit for around 400. More than 2100 damage in the space of about a second and a half. Not a bad entry-level epic weapon!

sometimes an item is epic because of it's quality, other times because of it's rarity. With this mace it's the latter. No primary stats, no hit, no crit, average DPS, average speed, and an ok proc that happens no more than crusader. What truly makes this epic is that you can get 2 nexus crystals from it, and you should.

Never was much of a fan of weps with procs but after using this mace Im sold. This thing procs ALL the time. Ive had lots of procs with each WF hit, ive also had 5, 6 procs in a row on many occasions, if the DPS on this was higher I would almost have to say this thing would need a nerf. VERY underestimated weapon for sure.

The proc on this hammer is simply crazy! I've noticed that putting Fiery enchant on it really sets it off (perhaps the firey glow it has is a hint?). All of this combined with Seal of Command makes for some heavy damage potential. Commonly, it procs twice in a row but have had it do 6 at once. I've also noticed that with Fiery, it can start a chain of procs where Firey kicks in, causes the weapon to proc, this in turn triggers another Fiery which triggers Seal of Command which triggers the weapon again. It's a fun weapon to have for general field work as it definitely shells out the damage and keeps the player entertained while doing so.

I got this the other day and I'm trying to figure out whether this gives me more DPS than Bonecrusher.

I've been killing Furbolgs in Winterspring for like and hour and it hasn't procced once. Call me crazy, but I thought weapon procs worked in Feral forms.

Concerning the quality of this weapon:

I was in the Grp that made the Picture up there. Actually nobody did want the item (we are parts of a MC-Raid-Grp, and Ruff (see picture) is actually the MC-MainTank). At the roll a hunter won - but didn´t want to sell an epic to NPC - so we gave it to Ruff...and now he wears it outside MC - it´s got a really nice look...

I just recently obtained a Blackhand Doomsaw from UBRS and i was comparing the two. I decided that this mace is definitely not worth your time. The DPS is 2.5 more than the Doomsaw (Big deal....), but the doomsaw proc is almost double the crusher proc. Its ok if you dont have a Reaper/Doomsaw , but if you do pls do your guild a favor and just take the Nexus Crystal

Hehe, I wasn't going to mention the proc until it was public knowledge. I hope its not nerfed. I was bored while levelling mace skills (takes too long, urgh) and decided to take some screenies of the proc while farming elementals in Silithus. Fear me Prot Spec DPS!

This is a major Blizzard mistake. This weapon is a 65 level epic item and it is inferior to the Arcanite Reaper, a 63 level blue!

I have both and i can confirm that the Reaper hits harder - as can be expected by looking at the weapons. The proc is very nice - procs at least once in every battle where the Doomsaw procced once per 5 minutes but it doesn't bring the weapon up to epic proportions. On the other hand i'm a warrior and my Spirit is lower than Bush's humanity.

This really is a Shamn\Pala\Druid weapon in that order but still it's barely a blue weapon - certainly not an epic.

I have to disagree with you guys..... Despite the complete lack of stats, this is a very good weapon. The proc rate is very high, and it has procced 5 times in one swing for me several times. As a sixty pally in 4/8 Lawbringer, I have oneshotted hunters in full tier 1. The lack of stats hurts the weapon, but overall, I prefer this to the Unstoppable Force.

Not a bad tweener weap for a shaman who doesn't have TUF yet. It's sad that I actually thought twice about using this ZG epic weap over my blue Crystal Spiked Maul which does hit harder, but is much slower. So, I'll go with this in the mean time because it looks very cool.

Well, I have this on my shaman, and I like it. It is indeed, a Blackhand Doomsaw for shaman. It procs like crazy, and I still love the graphic. The thing about my shaman though, is that I don't focus on DPS, I focus more on peak damage. I can get Windfury crits for 3.5k+ (In fact, I did on a rank 13 pally :D) Warriors can feel free to roll/spend DKP on this, but prepare to be dissapointed, this really is one of the few true shaman two handed weapons.

Shammies with Windfury on, str & agil totems down, and maybe a searing totem or a magma totem, and you'll be pumping out some SERIOUS DPS. I saw a shaman slap down that combo in AV the other day and he took out 4 other players before the 5th was able to get him down. It wasn't like he was in better equipment either, they were all comparably equipped, and he just completely crushed them. The 5th player was a rogue in all tier 2 with the core hound tooth and perdition's blade...by then the shammy was down to less than 1/4 health and the rogue 1 shotted him :P Unfortunately I was to busy dying to help :\

Got this 2HD, looks nice and procs fairly consistently, there are better stats found on other Maces however its a welcome upgrade from the Imperviouse Giant I had which was only 48.9dps and 105-159 @ Speed 2.7 Impervious Giant Im a pally with SoC the slower the better and the higher the top end the better, add icy chill to slow down runners and wallah!

What makes this better than doomsaw is the proc rate. fighting a lvl 60 mob, it will probably average 5 procs per battle. It procs 4 or 5 times on one hit all the time. I did a 1k dmg hamstring the other day with the procs. Plus, it looks cooler than doomsaw.

I agree that the DPS kinda sucks but the proc is very nice and procs very often..and since I am a pally it can proc both off a melee dmg or SoC dmg..or ofc from both at the same time...resulting in a very nice load of dmg...+it looks very cool too ...overall, good weapon till I get something better

Results from dekw's testing 1,000 hits on the Servant of Grol show an average of 4 procs-per-minute, or a roughly 24% chance-on-hit to proc. It can proc multiple times in one swing because each proc counts as an additional melee attack, although those extra procs are factored into the calculations already. All this combined leads to an average of +14 physical dps from the proc alone, assuming no +attackspeed modifiers or "extra attacks" from Hamstring/Windfury type abilities.

The extra proc can also proc other things like Fiery Weapon.

Shamans, don't sleep on this thing!

Apparently the PPM on this thing is a massive 4, making it REALLY surprisingly good on Enhancement shamans, especially non-Orcs.
Not only do WF and Flurry help with triggering this pretty decent proc, the proc itself is a phantom strike, meaning it has a chance to trigger Windfury.
Since its PPM are so high, it compensates for its low base DPS and missing stats to a ridiculous degree if you are otherwise well geared (current classic content is phase 4-5, so BWL-AQ gear).

I have not done the math myself, but I've seen it being described as "close to Hand of Ragnaros" and "a bit better than Drake Talon Cleaver for non-Orcs" on the Classic Shaman discord.

Of course the phantom strikes can also trigger Frostbrand, making this also a great weapon for Viscidius' first phase (remember: Frostbrand is also PPM based!)

This is arguably better than something like Herald of Woe for an enhancement shaman. The proc is physical, has approx 1 in 4 proc rate, can proc off WF, can proc WF (although you can't get multiple WFs in one batch) and can crit.

While it's woefully bad in terms of stats, any fights where you don't have a 100% uptime on a target (think trash, twin emps etc) the burst potential with this weapon and an enchant like fiery will beat a lot of other weapons in the 70dps range.
