1. Obtain the Eye of Divinity. The Eye of Divinity is a drop from Majordomo's (Level 500 elite mob) chest. Majordomo can be found in the Molten Core instance, which is in Blackrock Depths. Level 55+. You have to complete the following steps in order to get Majordomo Executus to spawn (Thanks Mythisafk!).

Get 7 to 8 people to complete the following Quests from Duke Hydraxis in Azshara

Poisoned Water
Stormers and Rumblers
Eye of the Emberseer
The Molten Core
Agent of Hyraxis
Hands of the Enemy

Hands of the Enemy requires you to collect the hands of Lucifron, Gehennas, Shazzrah and Sulfuron.

After completing the quest you get a Vial which can be used douse one of the seven or eight flame traps in Molten Core. Technically, you only need one person to complete the quest, but it's easier with seven or eight people with one vial each.

Each flame trap is guarded by:
Lucifron
Magmadar
Gehennas
Garr
Baron Geddon
Shazzrah
Sulfuron
Golemagg

After spawning Majordomo you have to force him to submit by killing his eight guards at the same time while tanking Majordomo himself. After he submits a chest will appear. You only have five minutes to open the chest and loot items before it despawns.

Basically it takes a 40 man crew two days normally to clear Majordomo. The Eye drops roughly 40% of the time. Only one eye will drop, so you'll have to kill Majordomo once per Priest. The eye is bind on pickup however. Equip the eye and use it to obtain a clue. Follow the clue to the next step.

Alright, heres the Priest Epic Quest/Staff information.

- The Eye of Divinity is a drop from Majordomo's chest.
- Splinter of the world Tree is obtained from completing a very challenging quest given froma quest giver near Strat. You must have the eye of Divinity equipped to see the quest giver.
- Eye of Shadow drops off of Kazzak. (You MUST be in the kill group, Tigole says they plan to change this so anyone can get it, even if you aren't in the kill group.)

Quest: Basically you have to save 50 peasants from undead (archers and melee). If 15 or more die you fail and there is a 2h cooldown before you can try again. There can be NO OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE or you will fail the quest.

Combine the 3 and get the staff. Enjoy.

Ingersol on Khadgar server got the staff today, we farmed the demons in Winterspring for about 10-20mins (They now drop the Eye of shadow) I dont know how you go about getting it done, but damn its a nice staff.

Just completed it today...took two tries...first try was just to get a feel of how it worked, did not use any alchemy potions other than mana pots and oils. Second try had AI and MOTW, lesser stoneshield potion, used two major mana potions, and about 10 oil of immolation. My spec is 21 Disc, 21 Shadow, 9 holy. I did not need Holy Nova.

The Eye of Divinity is a 50% drop out of domos chest. Either drops sinew or eye. (To the best of my knowledge)

Now to farm the Eye of Shadow, which I lost today to some noob priest :(

Here is the 'How to Get the Epic Priest Staff' Quest Info.

Step 1. Get the Eye of Divinity from Major Domo's Chest.

Step 2. Get the Eye of Shadow. You can get this off of Lord Kazzak. the Demons in Lord Kazzak's area, or if you'd like to take it easier but farm a while longer, the demons in darkwhisper gorge in the south of winterspring.

Step 3. Get prepared, For the next step you will want at bare minimum, 40 Oil of Immolation. Get the mats to have them made, or buy them on the AH. whatever you need to do. these are essential. Also; save any Holy Water you obtain.

Step 4.
Equip the Eye of Divinity, go to the Eastern Plaguelands.

Near the East Entrance to Stratholm is a quest giver. You can only see him while wearing the Eye of Divinity. Read what he has to say, Start the quest.

Step 5.
You must keep 50 civilians alive as they flee stratholm. Undead Archers and UNdead Melee will attack them. You want your heals to go off fast, so use your lesser heals. Just enough to keep the civilians in good health so they can run away. Melee skeletons will attack you. This is where oil of immolation comes into play use it to kill them.

If 15 civilians die, you will fail the quest.

If anyone weather they are in your party or not, interferes, helps, or even hinders you in any way, you will fail the quest. You must do this quest entirely alone. The best help you can get is buffs before hand. if anyone comes anywhere near you while you are doing this quest, you will fail.

This quest is on a 2 hour GLOBAL timer. That means that if someone else has recently finished, or failed the quest, EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON THE SERVER who wishes to do it after them, must wait for 2 hours to pass and hope they get their turn.

As of right now not too many people are doing this quest often enough for that to be a problem. but with the drop rate on EOS being upped that may change.

Step 6. Assuming you've finished the quest you'll have recieved a reward from the quest giver called "The Shard of Nordrassil" With The 2 Eyes in your inventory right click on the shard. all 3 peices will combine. You will either get benediction or anathema, if you'd prefer the other staff simply transform it. You can switch back and forth freely, however each time you do you must wait half an hour before changing it again.

There's some text with The Eye of Divinity you can read when you recieve this.

When you peer into the eye, images of a great battle fill your mind.

This terrifying conflict appears to be taking place somewhere in Lordaeron.

You can barely make out a lone female figure, standing amidst a thousand corpses, fending off a sea of Scourge. She is hopelessly outnumbered.

Tendrils of light escape her hands, cutting through the undead by the hundreds.

All for naught, it would seem. Moments later the priestess is swarmed by the corpses of the peasants that were surrounding her...
The fallen have risen.

When I did this quest, I failed the first time. So when I was riding back to try it again, I had the eye equiped and rode past Scholomance and could see the undead. I didn't check it out but told my guildmate about this tonight and he was able to go there and use the Vendor to buy the Major Mana Potion recipe. So, if you haven't finished the Scholomance quest for the item to see undead, just wear this as you ride by Scholomance and you can use the Vendor to buy the recipes you need.

as som1 said up above, you can do it with mutli priests in which i did it with another priest with the eye of divinity, mine was also on. well i started the quest with him, he got it also, we ran to the cave, 5 steps in i saw an archer shot at it and some huge demon comes and kills me. please explain

Since 1.10 it seems to have become quite easy to do the quest.
You can do it without any foreign buffs or potions or whatever, just

- wear some manareg stuff
- look for diseases (green and blue) on NPCs and remove them quickly
- use lower rank holy nova in combination with Rune of the Dawn to blow away skeletons
- use mid-rank quick heal to pick out really low NPCs
- take care especially of NPCs running in front and on sides and don't focus too long on one group

I'm no priest but many of our raiders seem to have a trick for this, I'm not entirely sure of the details but I would seriously suggest looking into it BEFORE doing the quest if you are having trouble.
Get a decent warrior or two in your group to help you out, put thorns on them (druid would work I guess) and position them where the skellies are going to come running, the thorns kills the skellies apparantly and they dont have to move (probably shouldnt or it might class as assistance and forfiet the quest).
Anyhow, never tried this but our priests are having little to no problems and are usually completing the quest first try without stocking up on blasted lands buffs etc.

Worth looking into anyhow, try not to flame me, this is meant to be a life jacket for those who are struggling, I'll see if I can get more detail the next time one of them is around.

Eris Havenfire is the quest giver you're able to see with the Golden '!' when you have Eye of Divinity Equipped. I found her on a mound, 4th from the cave that is at the back of Terrordale (Location 21,18 in EPL)

Please note that if you don't see the eye of divinity buff in your buff list, you can't see the mobs. And if you put the item on when mounted or flying, it won't give you the buff. I spent an hour waiting for the mob to respawn last night because I swapped the eye in on the flight to LHC.

Since the 1.11 patch update, it seems the Quest NPC now spawns every 30mins, instead of every 2 hours.

does any1 know if the quest is repeatable ? because i would love both an anathema and a benediction... each with different enchants... one with spell power and one with healing power... this is ofc because i'm shadow specced but i still heal in BWL and MC

Alright... To all the priests out there that think the Staff of Rampant Growth is WAT TOO Druid looking, and prefer this one, here is how to do the quest:

Step 1: Get the Eye of Divinity (Off Majordomo Exoctus. This is 9th Boss. Just before Ragnaros)

Step 2: Get the Eye of Shadow. (Drops off Kazzak, or high lvl demons in Winterspring or Blasted Lands. You could also BUY this item for around 400 Gold in Auction House.)

Step 3: Fly to Light Hope's Chapel.

Step 4: Get to the LIVE (Scarlet Crusade) Side of Stratholme entrance. (This is at the Northern part of the area)

Step 5: Equip the Eye of Divinity. (Make sure you have the eye buff. If you don't you will NOT be able to see the quest giver)

Step 6: Do the quests. (For this quest I'd reccomend you purchasing various Oil of Immolation <Around 10-15> Also, get Abolish Desiese in a place where you can simply click it. If you are amazingly rich, you could also buy Demonic or Dark Runes. Theese will help if your Health or Mana go down. Also, get around 2-5 Mana Pots. Theese will help for the quest. Also, make sure you click "V" before you begin the quest. This will let you see the peasant's health at the beggining. When the quest starts there will be peasants running through the bridge to the quest giver. Some of them will be diseased, and you have to cure them. Also, put a... kinda ish rank 4-5 renew in your Easy-Click bar. This will almost guarantee your peasant will get though safely. Undead MEELE guards will start attacking you once in a while. Use your Oil of Immolations to kill theese. They have quite low health, so it should be quite easy. Once in a while, the quest giver will Heal you, so you don't have to worrry that much about your health, but do worry about your mana. If your health starts slipping by, use ONE high rank renew to yourself, so you get back up. Once you have gotten the peasants to the other side, and completed the quest, the quest lady will give u a Splinter of Nordassil. Once you have that and you have both eyes in your inventory, you can just right-click the Splinter and then it will transform into your glorious staff.

Step 7: Have fun with your toy, If you are PvP make sure you rock Anathema's world, and if youre PvE (Raids) Heal like there's no tommorow.

Step 8: Have fun!

I went with a bunch of other priests to try and help one of our priests complete this quest. First of all we could not see the event at all since we did not have eyes equipped. BUt one extraordinary thing did happen. While I was standing in front of the cave a 62 elite large black Demon with horns named "The Clearer" appeared and one hit me. Immediately after killing me he disappeared. I am guessing it is something that was implemented to stop people from interfering with people's epic quest. The question is this thing killable? I doubt it.

Take with you at least:
- 6 Oil of Immolations (they will keep your mana instead using of "manaburning" Holy Nova)
- 2 Major Mana Potions (1st drink almost in the beginning - just when you'll use your 2000 mana, that will make 2 min of cooldown for next one run quickly)
- buffs: exept your own get Intellect. More likely to have BoK or BoW in addition.

And then - abolsh deseases, renew, abolsh deseases, renew, use your oil of immolations, and so on.

the eye of divinity has to be in your 1st trinket slot, not your second. this cost me about an hour.

Absolutely easy now, shouldn't be any problem for anyone.

Just did it on my priest (Not very good gear, only 2 pieces of prophecy, nothing else from mc, 5.5k mana, so pretty crappy to have killed domo) with no pots/buffs at all, and it only took 2 attempts without any info on what was gonna happen.

Basically I just did the following...

Rank 5 Renew to anyone ~2/3's health
Rank 7 Renew to anyone ~1/3's health
Mid Rank Flash heal to anyone about to die
Rank 3 Holy Nova for the Skellies
Abolish Disease for the Disease's (well duh :p)

Just take it easy, don't heal too much and you cant go wrong. Kind of a shame that they nerfed it so much though imo, makes it pretty pointless to have a quest rather than the staff just drop.

You can no longer use the "V" key to see their healthbars. Confused the heck outta me. Took me 5 tries cuz I was so nervous, but in the end, I did it purely self-buffed. Think the first aid Triage quests x10.

Not that difficult; after u fail the first time. Just like that one guy said, set up you spells on your Interface Mod to Renew Rank 5 (for 1/3 health), Rank 7 (for 2/3rd's health); mid range flash heal, Rank 3 Holy Nova, and of course abolish disease. The rank 3 holy nova is where u save all your mana, sufficient enought to kill skelies. Use your wand on the single or dual ones. One or two strikes with it will kill the skeleton. Remember to back up while healing peasants until u get your buff from the quest giver, then run back to heal next wave. She will buff you everytime. You will need no potions. I used 1 mana potion that I believe didnt have to use. Watch carefully which peasants are being attacked because the archers do not hit every one. A bunch died when I did it. I don't know how many, but before I knew it the quest was complete. After 24 raids in MC, I finally got my turn to get the eye of divinity (because every priest in guild had it already). I feel like somebody now. Good luck! :)

I have been reading alot of different stats on winning. In the end I did it solo. Two of the trys didn't count one was when a friendly neighborhood alliance ran through the tunnel while the quest was going on. They died and I died. Second time my brother orc ran through and got me killed by the bat. After I got that straighted out I got my oil of immolation on me, memmed my best renew, my best flash heal, rank 3 of holy nova, and abolish diease. I used my wand when 1-2 skellys came while I had the oil on me. Using the best flash heal will get the peasants up to full heal. As long as the peasants are at 50% heal when they get next to the quest giver they will live as long as they are not dieased. BTW V button did work for me. But I had to do Shift V to get it to show up

I have my bene i got it solo, I've since tryed to help other priests in the guild do this quest. I can confirm that ppl that have completed the quest an have the staff already cannot help ppl doing the quest. Also we had 2 guildies with the eye that tryed to do the quest at the same time. The text came up "do you want to accept this quest" an they both were allowed to accept it. Although once they moved to start healing the big demon guy spawned an killed one. So i can confirm 2 ppl with the eye of divinity cannot help each other complete the quest But if the one that does not die completes the quests they both complete it. Patch 2.01(patch just before bc)

You may have to re-set this up in the Key Bindings; but if you set ctrl-v to "Show All Name Plates" you can see the health of the guys you need to heal.

This damn thing drops for us evertime. I'm not complaining, I already have the staff....but I think the drop rate needs to be upgraded to 50% and the hunter leaf to 50%, because it's always one or the other.

Anyway, you can find lots of readings about this trinket on the net. Simply put, you equip this eye in your trinket slot, then when you're ready for the mission, find the NPC (which is invisible to those without the trinket) outside Stratholme, throgh a cave. She will have a yellow "!" over her head. When you accept the quest "A balance of light and shadow", the quest starts immediately. I made the mistake of accepting it before I even knew what was going on.

Civilians come in mobs of about 10-15 people per mob, and are being shot on with bows/arrows from skellies up on the kill. Note again, that nobody around can see any of this, just you...so you CAN'T have any interference from the outside (ie. people healing/shielding you, etc). Some of the civilians will be diseased, and most will be attacked. Use a lower rank flash heal, and make it a priotiy to cure the disease on ALL affected civilians. A trick is to use "V" key to see their health above them.

The skellies will also in the meantime, come in mobs to attack you as well while you heal. For this, you use Oil of Immolation pots. You will typically use 12-15 per attempt at this quest. They have an instant timer on them, so when they do their dmg to the mobs attacking you, you can use another. The mobs only have like 100HP, but you can't have time to attack them with spells etc, because you will be busy healing the citizens.

The object of all of this, is to SAVE 50 citizens, before 15 of them die. They just keep walking to safety towards you, until either you die, or you fail the mission by letting too many of them die. I ended up getting it on the 3rd attempt.

This will get you the next stage in the priest epic quest, another epic trinket, which you then combine with The eye of Shadow, found either off Kazzak in Blasted Lands, or a drop in Winterspring. Info for both of those can be found on this site. Good luck.

yes, you can actually sell/give the drops in domo's chest out to anyone. just keep the chest popped open and summon. we started giving the priest and hunter epic quest to alts sitting outside of MC who were not present at the kill. hmm, will blizz fix this?

we have had 1 eye of divinity out of around 25 chests, wtf is goin on?

its beyond a joke, I/we have been farming Mc for 8 months now and i have only seen 3 or 4 priests ever loot it.

cmon blizzard sort it out.

we have tried different raid leaders etc and nothing ever changes its always the hunters leaf, all the hunter alts have got the leaf too now..

every alliance toon seems to have benediction but yet its like mega rare drop for us hordies.

i was wondering if u can loot the eye even if u arent there for the kill. if u were waiting outside but in the raid and the guild kills domo and eye drops. can u join the instance, get a summon and will u be able to loot the eye?

Holy Water & Thornling seeds save you a lot of mana ;).

Also if you can find several healers or at least one other with the same quest, make sure they are wearing the trinket and they can stand where the quest giver is (as far back as they can without falling off the hill).
From here they can heal and remove disease from the NPC's, they cannot heal you or touch the skeletons (which they shouldn't need to if you've used Thornling seeds & holy water).
Then you swap round and help them do their quest, or vice versa, the more healers the easier it is.

You can get help from another priest who also has Eye of Divinity equipped. The other priest can remove deceases and heal quest npcs.

One time I was healed by other priest I was killed by The Cleaner - so I guess that is not allowed.

You still need holy water, Oil of Immolation, mana pots and mp5 gear/food to manage your mana and survive the skeletons.
