I was looking to see if World of Warcraft had added the infamous "Vorpal" weapon. It's title refers to Lewis Caroll's poem, "Jabberwocky", in which the hero wields a, "vorpal blade". What does "vorpal" mean? Nothing, really. It is not a real word. But it has come to be known as, "A particularly deadly object with a certain unpredictability." The unpredictability would refer to the weapons, "Random Enchantment".

Great dagger for this level.

Name is a possible reference to Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carol, in which a poem titled 'Jabberwocky' spoke of a 'vorpal blade' which defeated the Jabberwocky:

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.'
