man +str and +agi on plate= warrior, the stamina stats fits for both but moost of the stats is going to warrior so iff a warrior is in the party/raid he should get it, anyways the stam is really low and the agi+str is high so this should be a warrior's boots

these r a warriors boot man the stamina and strength is amazing and the extra agility helps with crit and warrior doesnt always need defense and resis bcause he can decide 2 go arms warrior and do nothing but pure damage and the crit helps with that but a warrior should definetely have dibs on this if he comes by it

a paladin who needs on these is not greddy, these would suit perfektly for my paladin. the str to hit hard the agi to hit and dorge, plus stamina for more health, what is wrong with a paladin needing for some gadgets that he can use?

seriously man if u ever want to be in a good guild your gonna have to have a set for healing, coz in the end, for the good of any group, a pally will be converted into a healer and buffer, a warrior only has one option, being a tank, if you go fury you'll still be asked to be a tank, just like a pally will be asked to be a healer if there are'nt any priest, and even with priests your still back up healer, i wouldnt mind if you rolled on a plate since u wear plate, but i can see where a warrior would be pissed if you took a plate with stam and strength and *!@#, i have a 60 pally with judgment helm, full pvp set, obsidion edge blade, and i still put on my crappy blue healing gear, and get ready for a few hours of backup healing in any high instance, especially MC

What you are thinking of in your tiny little warrior brain is PRIESTS. Pallys were never supposed to hold up to a warrior as a tank. But this doesn't mean that we shouldn't fight. That's like saying shaman shouldn't cast spells, cause that's a mages job. I have no problems with healing, or tanking. I do both on a fairly regular basis.

However, I have a major dislike for cocky, ninja warriors. If this dropped, even with a warrior in the party, I would roll on it, barring certain circumstances.

Heh, for all the warriors reading this, think about it. As for everyone else, forgive me for wasting your time.

Shouldn't go to warriors first, shouldn't go to pallys first either. For both classes, it isn't something you'd necessarily use in a group. Pallys would use their healing set in a group, and warriors would use their tanking set in their group (with occasional exceptions for both classes).Those are neither tanking boots nor healing boots. These are good DPS boots that can be used by both classes outside of groups for PVP, soloing or W/E. Warriors deserve to have their own DPS set just as much as a pally, and vise versa. So please none of that 'for the good of the group' crap. Don't screw someone else over by making up bull#$%^ rationalizations that you should get them before another class; that's just being greedy, pure and simple.

Anyone with a brain, and they are few and far between , would realise that these suit both a Warrior and Paladin.

Good players of both classes build two sets of armour. Paladins will have a damage and healing set. Warriors will have a damage and tanking set.

This item is not for healing or tanking - please look, no intelligence and low stamina. It will be of use to both classes in their second set that is not their class defining attribute, ie. Tanking for Warriors and Healing for Paladins, in end level instances.

Both should have an equal opportunity to role.

FYI I have both a level 60 Warrior and Paladin.

If you're a Paladin, go ahead and roll need on this nice pair of boots if they drop. I had one of the most respectable Retribution Paladin's pre-BC and I'm still knockin' out horde post-BC with some nice warrior gear. All the people who post on here saying this is strictly warrior gear are outta their minds, cause a well-geared Ret Pally will always own a warrior of near the same level.

if someone needs them they need if not pass no need to be greedy. theres always gonna be biatches that whine and piss and moan cause someone stole this or that item.. *!@# people, i mean commomn. tho if theres a warr in grp i would say that they go to him if he needs them pallys can suck my balls on needin caus theres way more gear fo you pallys than fo the warr annyhow. So suck it.Almost every dungeon has one or two decent warr drops the rest is pally. ever since BC came out the war got screwed.. i mean theres tons of stuff with int or spir on it and not much with agi so stop yer whinin and get on with it.. PS theres always going to be the dungeons to runn..*grinns* and hell if ya want better stuff have someone make it for you or buy it yourself.

dude.. u are stupid.. warriors got tons of stuff they get from every instance.. look at us paladins.. we got 3 talent ways we can take. 1=holy .. im holy and i still own warriors and heal better than most priests..
2= prot.. THESE CAN TANK.. i ( main 70mage on lightningsblade .. EU) was with a prot paly (70) (horde here BTW) and he did perfectly on most bosses. NEVER WIPED.
3= ret.. i know some paladins that do the same DPS as a rogue.. and when they duel.. paladin own rogue.

SO 2 OF OUR TALENT WAYS DONT JUST CONSENTRATE ON intel or spirit.. paladins do need agil, sta and str so use ur logic..

Ok. to this idiot on top of me...U are a plain idiot.. This boots should be handed to a warrior other then a pally. U try to explain all these things for a pally, but when it comes down to str. , agl. , and sta. of course this item will go for a warrior. and yea..pally can heal and fight. but when it comes down....a warrior over runs a pally in a instance...everyone knows a warrior is a better tank then a pally....so dont try to say u can heal better then priest and be owning warriors. Let me c u own a warrior like me. I guarantee u will get owned!

Wow! u all are very persuasive on your extreme desire to hit the NEED button. I have a pally and a war and the only reason to hit need on these boots is if u are a fury war or a ret pally these are the only specs that need agil. prot pallys and wars NEED Heavy stam there speced to TANK not DPS. Look up the difference! and holy pallys Need HEAVY INTL! and finaly arms Wars ...well i can kinda understand a need for these but not do to the agil its becouse it has str and agil at high rates.! So IF U ARE A TANK DORP IT! U DONT NEED IT! THAT GOES FOR BOTH PALLYS AND WARS

After reading a good number of the comments made on here I've come to a bit of a mindset that there are a lot of people that don't know what their role is in the group concerning their class. A warrior has but one option, tank. Sure they can do dps 'n the like, but a warrior is a tank pure and simple. A pally could tank, could heal, could dps; so with that, the pally needs to decide what function it is they are going to do. To keep using the well but I could do "this in the group so I need that" argument in terms of rolling is bull!@#$. Your right, a pally could do just about anything, but to try and pull that weight in terms of rolling is pure crap.

If a war "needed" a plate with any Int. bonus you know damn well that any pally in the group would throw an absolute fit even if the war said that the other stat's bonus is better than what they've got and rightly so, wars don't need Int., they need Str, Agi, and Stam. What I'm getting at is this. Know what your role is and roll according to need for that role. This piece works well for both War's and Pally's. I'd say it's more of a war piece but if it's better than what you've got by all means roll need, if it's not don't *!@#$ about it. On a side note, a one or two point stat boost vs someone elses crappy green DOES NOT NECESSITATE NEED! Keep that in mind as well.

Roll of a Class? come on, get over the paradigm block. Perhaps a warrior can "only" tank due to the need for rage. However that is the warriors weakness and other classes should not have to bow out of a roll due to a warrior having no other usefulness in an instance. Remember there are other classes that can tank as well or better than a warrior depending on the skill of the player. Perhaps the solution here is if you want this gear and you are not a warrior then do "a looking for group" with a druid tank or tank it yourself as a pally, make the group and exclude warriors. You can get a 70 or two to run you through it as well specifically to get you the gear you want, then if it drops there is no compitetion to the roll. Otherwise when grouping make it clear that you intend to roll on STR/AGI plate and confirm that is ok with the group. If it is not find a group that isn't going to have trouble with you rolling need on something you want. If your guild tells you what to roll, how to spec and what your "roll" is in a group and you do not like that then "/gquit" and get a more flexable guild. Some guilds, sucessful ones that have lots of members, will run instances numerous times to get everybody geared with what they need and what they want. For the sake of arguement a warror doesn't "Need" str/agi gear to tank, he "Needs" stam gear and to sunder armor. If you think your going to tank by dodging and critting your mistaken. That's how a rogue tanks, dodge and evasion with mega-spam healing. So a warrior doesn't "need" this either. Both a warrior and a RET pally have the right to roll want.

These are a very solid option for dps Warriors, even BiS (currently, P2.5) depending on the setup.

An alternative, that is more common, is Sapphiron's Scale Boots. You lose 4 agi but gain 6 stam and a bit of armor.
The main bonus being availability. Sapphiron's are much more common and everyone else is after Battlechasers.
