When i first started with my Dissenchanting on my alt i used to make these and DE them. I would get alot of items worth more than the mats that i used to make it.

Even tho you can get some good Random Enchants on them, i wouldnt advice making them to sell on, as the "Requires Engineering" puts people off.

Blizz took out the green lens of Stamina in an earlier patch. On a side note, these are the best twink goggles for 30-39 depending on the class. (I.E. lvl 39 lock with +10sta, 57 armor, and 36 shadow dmg on the helm alone, no enchants)

Decided to make my Druid a engineer (Night Elf). I sent him mats to make these enough for 5. 3 were useless so they went to my DE. the other two were +10 mana every 5 sec. and intellect. They really helped

Managed to find a Lens "of Shadow Wrath" on AH... so +34-36 Shadow Damage, and presumably any school of magic is also possible.

Got it for my Lock for the 30s... and given the quality of the item, he'll probably keep it for quite some time too.

I've unfortunately not seen any Lens with stat modifiers in ages though. So maybe the Armory is correct in not having things like "of the Monkey", "of the Eagle", etc... which is kind of unfortunate I would say.

I was under the impression that they removed the ability to craft lenses with stats (stamina, agility, etc...). However, any that had been crafted before the ability to make them was removed, were not deleted. Meaning if you have one, you pretty much have a one of a kind item.

Just got lucky with these managed to get about four of these worth in mats and got frozen wrath with 36 frost dmg on the 4th craft. God I love these things.

12 made so far, no +36 Shadow Wrath! Be prepared to sink a ton of money into these if you're twinking. I've gotten 2 +34, but that's obviously not going to cut it for a twink =[

10 stamina is always on every lens, the rest is from a random enchant/suffix to the lens and they do require engineering to wear.

I wonder if any one can answer my question, When ever I equip this item the next time I log in it is back in my backpack. Nothing else does this, should I file bug report or has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, it always requires engineering to be at 245.

I've been making these for some time. I'm always getting + fire/frost/arcane/nature/shadow dmg and one with + regeneration, but can you make ones with + holy spell dmg ?

I saw a Green Lens of Critical Hit which was the +10 Stam, and then +4% to crit (melee).

I honestly wouldn't have believed this if I didn't see it, but he linked it in the trade channel on Stormscale. It's so rare I guess no one with WoWreader has seen this before item before to upload it.

After making a half dozen for my Lock, all I had created were nature's wrath x3 and concentration, regen, etc. I spent another 70g on mats for a batch of 6, started crafting and went afk. When I returned 3 of the 6 were Shadow Wrath. Two of those were +34 and one was +36!

Also got another nature's wrath, another regen, and an arcane wrath +34.

I don't know how accurate the prices here are for shadow wrath, but if one had been listed in ah for 100g i'd have bought it rather than trying to craft. I'll try selling the two +34 ones for 100g, at first listing, then drop price over time.

It kinda sucks that they took off the "of Stamina" attribute, which granted +24-25 stamina, and by the way, it doesn't change stats every time you equip it, it is randomly assigned a set of attributes when you make it.

Whoever said they thought the item changed stats every time you equipped it was wrong. Whenever you make one it gives +10 stamina, (Random Attribute). Thats all, it won't change.

This is from the patch notes of patch 1.3:
"Green Lens item can no longer call Stamina as one of its random properties. Existing Green Lens have not been changed."

I am wondering whether only Green Lens of Stamina is removed or also Green Lens of the Eagle and Green Lens of the Whale...
The guys on Thottbot say Eagle and Whale are also removed...

I don't even want to know how many green len's I made but it took easily 30+ to make shadow wrath. Also, is stamina still in the game? I think they got rid of stacked stats for green lens.

I got lucky. My little warlock manage to get shadow wrath on the second try with this. Plus she's only 31 and can already wear it thanks to being a gnome. gg engineering specialization ^^

I noticed they have these with certain resistances, but it doesn't list fiery resist. Could you make on with +Fire Resistance?

This item is disgustingly skewed towards spell-casting Engineers. I've made no less than 30 of them, and have gotten nothing but spell-wrath, concentration, and regeneration lenses.

As a Rogue-class Engineer, I think Blizzard SERIOUSLY needs to revamp the enchantment on this item a little bit, to "level the field".

I've already written them as a suggestion - if enough other people did as well, perhaps they may do something about it....

(Oh, I do keep making them because I have an enchanter alt, and they DO dis into a Large Radiant Shard - pays for the mats at least....)

Green Lens of (+stat), from what I understand, cannot be made anymore. Most of those with +stats are probably ones that people made before they "fixed the bug". I still have my Green Lens of Stamina in my bank (unequipped) and am waiting for just the right time to pawn it off.

My Eagle on is soulbound :(

My first was Arcane Wrath, but that's useless to a rogue...I ended up giving it to an up-and-coming guildy mage who had started up Engineering (I like giving them goals to reach) and bought the Regeneration lens for 9g. Very well spent, it's saved my cute troll hiney more than once. I'd make more, and getting all the mats isn't hard (high mining skill plus guildies and friends with surplus leather, plus HotW flows like water), but that darned Wildvine is so effing spendy on my server.

So far I have made Green lens of Concentration, of Regeneration and of Nature's Wrath.

What I really want is Green Lens of Healing (being a holy priest) or even something with lots of intellect.

Has anyone made a Green Lens of Healing and want to swap for any of mine? Please mail me in game.

that isnt a complete listing of what the stats can be, ive seen green lense with +32 shadow damage, and seen them with 2 +16s also, not always +hp/mana or 30/32s.

i dont have this but i think it just gives you random stats everytime you equip it. be really nice to have item that allows you to change it stats to whatever you most need, and not be stuck that way. im at 240 engineering, almost there. I have all gnome devices except death ray, which i can make now but are few regeants short.

On my 5th I got the Shadow wrath for my lock who just dinged 35th. Now all I have to do is get his eng lvl'd to 245! :) This will go great when he can wear his shadoweave gear!

Had to log in (in a very long time) just to comment.

I know RNG is all that matters but...

I crafted roughly 30 of these to get the 'of Shadow Wrath'. Bought up all the Aquamarines and Jades and spent near 600 gold. Last craft of the night, IRL cheering on in disc, me spamming /pray to the RNG gods and bosh, it dropped! Will be staying at 39 for a while to grind the stamina trinket.

I am not really playing at end-game (reserving for TBC/WotLK) so my sink is during 19 to 49.

May the force be with you all, hopefully you luck is much better than mine.

Was this changed in TBC Classic? My priest made 8 of them. 7 "of Intellect" and one "of Regeneration"...which would be a statistical impossibility according to the information on this page.
