"Let me make you a plate" and they're grilling something when everybody arrives. You getting the same vibe as me off these guys Adam?
The cannibal hunters?

No...I have a feeling we're gonna see Negan early, just from the way the scenes of the finale were playing out.

I really doubt that Terminus has anything to do with Negan. That would make 0 sense for them to come across him right after dealing with the Governor, and when they're still this far away from DC. No I think that they'll have some time to get to know Abraham and his crew before that story happens.
On a side note, I'm really enjoying Negan as a villain. "Let me check my crystal balls."

Between this and the Steinbeck references last week I think TWD might actually be taking a page out of the Breaking Bad book and utilizing some intelligent writing for a change.

Out of curiosity. Does Zombies scare you?

If handled properly zombies can be scary as *!@#. Pet Cemetery might be one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. The typical movie and television zombie's aren't really scary though.

Anybody else notice that the Governor music was playing when Rick went all knife crazy on that guy?

I was so happy when Rick bit that guy, but it's kind of scary how much he's changed since S1

He's finally becoming more like Comic Rick; that's how he dealt with the guys who threatened to rape Carl in the comics after all.

In the comics it's worse. Abraham implies that he disemboweled the guy with his bare hand.

So...I'm nearly all caught up on the Walking Dead comic; just picked up volume 21 today which is issue 121 to 126, and from what I can tell, the most up to date comic issue is 129 :) Going to be buying a Kobo Glo e-reader on Friday which will play CBR/CBZ files so can relax and read them then.

Not really. I've never watched the Kardashians, but the ones on some of the other 'reality' shows seem pretty weak.
As far as zombie hordes, they can be pretty scary. I once saw a documentary about NASCAR and there just thousands of them. /shudder
TWD is one of the few TV shows I watch, and funny enough it seems to actually have fewer 'mindless meat bags' than many other shows out there...
One question: Never picked up the books, is Carl this irritating in the serial?

Carl is fairly bad ass in the comics.

Just finished watching World War Z, or as I like to call it
2012
: Billy Ray Cyrus Edition.
Man, that was pretty weak. They were doing so good to set up the tone, and it was the first movie I know of to actually use the term "zombies" as well as the first (that I can remember) to actually depict the first moments of the apocalypse. But then its plot starting buckling under its own structural weakness: the absolute lack of realism with the zombies; the strange need to have a team of people get Billy Ray to his next destination but for some reason staying behind; the absolute impatience to get the next action scene out no matter how little it made sense or how little tension it allowed to develop; the lack of faithfulness to the book (Max Brook's zombies were slow, died over a number of days, had a phenomenal sense of smell, and stopped moving once their brain was destroyed); the confusing ending; and horrible CGI ended up completely killing any emotional investment I had in the movie.
I should think Max Brooks is probably ashamed of it.

I enjoyed the book a lot, but I also really liked the movie. It makes sense to do "fast" zombies, imo. The media is saturated with "slow" braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaains zombies, while fast zombies (outside of video games) is mostly limited to 28 Days Later. It made for more interesting action scenes as well. Instead of having to just hold out against tons of zombies, it turned the scenes into adrenaline fueled races (which I enjoyed).
The story was a bit weak, but not terrible. Overall, I would give it a 7.75/10.

but mine is right.
but I just found the almost intelligent qualities given to the virus, the rate at which they transformed, the unbelievable rate at which it spread, and the seemingly indestructible nature of the zombies (to the point that that one guy's fingers were still moving after all the rest of his body was burned) all to be too unrealistic for me to invest in the danger at all. The extent to which it broke my immersion totally deflated all the action scenes for me.

I thought it was a little ridiculous that nobody noticed the zombies didn't go after sick people. You'd think it would be fairly apparent at the very start of the outbreak, especially in hospitals and such.
It's something I'd be able to overlook in a zombie movie that was supposed to be campy, but World War Z tried to bill itself as a zombie flick grounded in gritty realism.
I thought the movie was okay, but not one of the greats, and certainly not on the level of the book.
