The list could go on, and all I did was type 'zones' into the search bar, at the top of the forum.
Please try that next time.
Necroing threads isn't good, mmkay. There's been a long enough time between all of those that this thread isn't deemed worthless.
As to the question, my favorite zone would have to be Nagrand. So many good honest grind quests "Kill 30 of these, here's yer junk", and I can just sit there and stare at the sky if I was bored enough.
I don't have a 2, 3, 4, or 5th best zone, so eh.

1) Barrens - *Memories* Barrens chat </3
2) Hellfire Peninsula - Epic! I got kind of dissapointed though when i found out that the rest of outland didnt look anything like it should(though i give cred to Netherstorm and Shadowmoon valley for being the second next badass places in Outland)
3) Icecrown - Another Epic zone, the LOTR rip-off really suits it too! And again the whole Northrend should look more like this(But Zul'Drak and Storm Peaks did not dissapoint either)
4) Tirisfal Glades - Oh the misery, corruption and darkness, with Lordaeron being the crown of it. If only the hidden v\city beneath it had been greater and matched the epicness of its own hide.
5) Teldrassil, an untouched pearl... litteraly, with its stunning nature and great trees, its hard to spot the inner conflicts that are taking places within its domain. As much as its a place of struggle, its also a place to calm down for a while... only drawback, unpopulare and separated.

1. Nagrand - very beautiful zone, love the floating islands.
2. Mulgore - wide plains with cow people, whats not to like.
3. Barrens - having to wait for flight master to respawn plus lots of Chuck Norris jokes.
4. Un-Goro Crater - dinos, gorillas, and oozes oh my, plus getting knocked off my mount by a mob so im forced to kill it so i get xp is nice
5. Feralas - evil cow people, bears, wolves, pre-wolvar people, an abandoned instance(now that locks can buy their mounts) and lots of ogres as well as a very beautiful jungle .

1.
Elwynn Forest
: Where it all began for me, I'll never forget those days of innocence and wonder, never realising for a second just how big the world actually was. The terror of being chased by Murlocs, and reaching the border to Redridge and thinking..."My god, it looks scary that way. I'll go back :(".
2.
Westfall
: Getting out of the forest and seeing the world just open up into those vast, but tragic looking farmlands gave me a little thrill. And the struggles and joys of running Deadmines, which took me
two weeks
to complete!
3.
Redridge Mountains
: My first Orcs! More Gnolls! Copper and Tin in abundance! I felt like a hero and a rich man, slaying Orcs and making armor. Life was good.
4.
Duskwood
: Creepy, atmospheric, I came here for the first time at night, alone, and was scared stiff. I walked round a big tree, and there was a pack of Worgen. They chased and ate me. Happy days.
I can't think of a 5th to be honest. And looking at what I wrote, it seems obvious that I'm a bit of a nostalgia freak. I still love the game, and love doing the high level stuff...but I remember fondly when it was all so damn new, and exciting, and different from anything I ever played before.
