I'd say
this is worth a listen.
You can laugh at the fake "voice" effect, but it was the closest thing the SNES had to vocals back then.

However it's all metal (Basshunter being the exception ofc.), you can make as many sub genres you want, but it's still metal.
Edit: Don't get me wrong, i like metal, the exception being
Death Metal :)
