Druid -
Summon Ancient Protector
- Summons and dismisses a rideable Ancient Protector. This is a very fast mount. Also roflstomps anything in your path.

Hunter consider their pets as close friends, you don't ride on the back of your friends... right? =p
Depends on how good a friend they are. ;)
I can't speak for Warlocks, but I'm fairly certain that Paladins receive class mounts because it's a staple of the fantasy genre. Paladins in D&D receive a warhorse as part of the character package.
That being said, I wouldn't be against class-specific mounts, especially if it led to difficult class-specific end-game content, or perhaps connected with a series of class-specific achievements.
Death Knight:
Already in-game.
Druid:
Already in-game (travel forms)
Hunter:
Hunters would pay to "train" one of their pets to be a good riding mount; in order to use it as their mount it would have to be their active pet at the time. Where it gets tricky is the flying mount; what if the Hunter didn't have a flying pet? They could potentially add in a quest line for Hunters to be able to train a spirit beast version of their pet mount and have it fly...
Mage:
Mages, the masters of the arcane, should be able to simply float on a cloud of arcane energy (as a ground mount) or surround themselves with a sphere of arcane and soar through the sky.
Paladin:
Already in-game partially. As for a flying mount, simply re-skin the current Paladin charger so that it looks like a glowing golden horse and call it good.
Priest:
Add in a unicorn (a beast of purity in the fantasy genre), and a pegasus as a flying mount. Alternatively, just give the priest angel's wings and let them fly without a mount.
Rogue:
Stealth mount ftw? I'd say this is probably the trickiest of the classes to "mount up". Perhaps they could add in a giant chameleon mount as a ground mount, and some sort of Hakkar-esque creature for the flying mount (poisonous and can camouflage itself).
Shaman:
Shamans receive a semi-class travel form; however, it does not have a swift equivalent. They could create an upgraded version of Ghost Wolf that carries an elemental aura around it that shifts periodically as it runs through the sky. For example, the wolf would leave a trail of fire behind it, and then shift to crackling with electricity, etc.
Warlock:
Similar to the Paladin: Add a pair of demonic wings to the fel steed and call it good.
Warrior:
Another tough one. Any sort of highly armored beast would be a good choice; perhaps an armored bear as a ground mount and a war dragon as a flying mount.

The class mounts mean nothing now that there's no quests for them. I don't see the point in having them now that you can just go to trainer and get it IMO Blizzard should've kept the class mount quests. Let the racial mounts be the one you get at a certain level from the trainer and you should have to do a quest for the class ones. Yes, I know the old dungeons were hard to get groups for so I'm thinking that the questlines should've been reworked and made solable or the dungeons you go to updated.
I don't care how many classes get mounts but there should be a quest involved IMO.
