Many people feel for you mate, me included, frost/UH DW needed a nerf, not a complete decapitation.
But no need to worry, I remember reading a blue post about them considering turning Frost into more "DW friendly" and adding more bits and goodies.
Atm however, DW dps seems to be a large lackluster and I'd suggest you either submit, get a 2-h and await the 'possible' improvements.
Oor, you could be conservative and still roll with a deep Frost/UH specc DWing away :)
doing subpar dps but having a great time ^_^

I don't know much about death knight DW, mostly because it has always seemed a bit off to me, either through lack of decent runes or the fact that the strikes work off weapon damage. To be honest, what i think frost really needs is a decent "Instantly attack with both weapons" type move, like enhance shamans Stormstrike. Or perhaps a talent that makes all your strikes attack with both equipped weapons instead. And definately a fantastic rune for haste or hit rate, just to make things a bit easier.
I could be way off here, but right now, i don't think dw is worthwhile at the moment. 2h till it gets sorted i think.

Here is my armory, DW spec as 0/15/56. Expertise is where it needs to be, Crit is fine. If you notice my +Hit though 11.62% then add the Draenei racial 1%. im only missing 6-7 hits out of 100 which isnt bad but imo its still to much. I want to try and reach the DW hit cap, iirc its like 17% to hit but either way. I decided to hit the test dummie this morning and see how DW dps was.

i have it split to show the pets and gargoyles dps also, combined dps was 4642. The buffs that i had on at the time was Well Fed using Dragonfin Filet, Flask of Endless Rage, Bone Armor, and Horn of Winter. Like im saying DW is far from dead you may have to tweak specs and rotations but dont give up.

ok this may sound a bit odd but i dont have a set in stone rotation. I always start out the same. I pop HoW for the extra RP then drop a DnD and hit Empower Rune Weapon to reset my runes. Then IT>PS>DC>BS>BS>SS>DC. Then its SS>DC>PS>BS>BS>SS>DC. If the SS procs the diseases to refresh then i just let the extra frost rune set there tell i need it for the next SS, if the diseases are about to fall off I will refresh it. I use the 2nd PS to refresh the Desceration. IMO the 5% to all forms of dmg is a must to keep up. Also if my Gargoyle is on CD or im waiting for later in the fight to use it i use DC every chance i have the RP to. If i know the fight is going to take longer than 3 min and ill get to use my Gargoyle 2 times then i wont do any DC's tell i hit max RP pop the Gargoyle then DC. Also imo UB is a total waste of RP unless you have 3+ mobs around you
My DC's atm are hitting on avg for 2200-2300, and criting for 4900-5k on the test dummy.

Not to be rude but..are you a DRANEI death knight?Wtf was you thinking?Most Dk's look good for horde(except Belf ofc), and alliance got dwarf and human wich is kinda neat with DK.And you choosed a dranei dk..
LMAO the only true choices to be a DK was, Draenei for the +hit. Humans for the +expertise, or Night elf for the extra dodge. Ive never picked a toon for the looks. Before i rejoined the military i was a very hard core raider id rather pick a toon that will make the end game a little easier for me.
I have a question, does anyone here think that not taking SS talent and picking up Annihilation like in this build.

would end up being more dps. i just hate losing the haste from Icy Talons. Obliterate hits harder and gets a better % from diseases than SS, you would just be losing the possible refresh on the disease. I was thinking about playing around with it to see.

Seems odd to me that u use the Glyph of DnD and not DarkDeath für more DC dmg, which i guess is one of the main sources of dmg, while DnD is only used at the Beginning(which i dont do, because of no agro reduce as DW)
Though I agree that the dmg bonus of desecration is goood I doubt its of to much use inside Ulduar, due to the need to move around a lot.
I had Dark Death to being with and it was nice, I will go back to it once im done testing DnD out. I was trying to find a way to use DnD every time it was up and find some sort of rotation to make work. Ive spamed it in 5 man heroics before and tbh never had an issue with pulling threat off of the tank. so i dont really thing that would be a concern.
as far as the Desecration in uldar, Since it's 100% of the time now on every PS, i will be more than willing to drop something or pause a rotation a little to ensure the extra 5% to dmg is there for everything else. i can only see it as a boost to dmg. unless the entire fiight is moving until the boss is dead then i will use it all the time.
i guess its kind of like the debate about SV hunters taking up Sniper Training for uldar because they have to stand still for 6 secs to get the benefit. the way that i look at is im ranged ill find a spot that i can set still as long as possible as long as i do not have to move to avoid AOE dmg and just fire away.
