I really want to see BWL and AQ remade as raid zones although they are very BIG zones and a 5 or 10 man group would seem really out of place in them!
I imagine the green dragon bosses will remain in the game at least until the Emerald Dream content is released, but they are also tied to AQ - they gave raids the NR gear they required for Huhuran. So if AQ is remade, I doubt Huhu would be quite the same and the need for the green dragons would be gone.
I could be wrong but, Blizzard seems to have moved away from world bosses a bit. They were ultra competitive and generally "camped" by big guilds, there was griefing, smaller guilds could never get a look in until the bigger guilds appetite was sated... not really an ideal scenario. I reckon world bosses *spawned* by certain events like the epic questline ending in Moonglade are better.
But I hope MC stays the way it is, I think we as gamers need it there to remind us how much better the game has become!

There is a new 5-man and possibly a new raid being added to Blackrock mountain; Nefarion, like Ragnaros has escaped 'his death' and will be making a return to Azeroth. I'm hoping with what recently occurred in the comics, with the attempted resurrection of C'thun, will mean that Silithus and An'quarj will get full make overs.
As for the Nightmare Dragons, Azuregos and Kazzak's replacement..... their probably all going to be removed come Cata, as there is no point to them anymore.. plus you don't want a level 60 raid boss wondering around a 10-20 zone.

If I remember right, Ragnaros is going to Blackrock Descent I believe it was called.
And I would personally love to see something replacing Scarlet Monastery (i hate that place with all the burning passion of a thousand Twilight fans).
And I would like to see Sunwell revamped in some later expansion, but I don't think It will happen come cata. Plus i'd like to see Ahn'Qiraj returned, as I never had a chance to see it before BC came out.

Even more so than world bosses, portals, and old raids, I have to wonder what would happen to the plaugelands and Tirisfal glades.. wtf will happen to the scourge now that we have a pretty good hunch that the Lich King will cease to exist.
Return to the happy, bright colored place they "used" to be? :D nah, I think I would miss that a little.. leveling there was pretty fun. Specially during pre-bc.
Suppose to be pushes by the Forsaken and the Blood Elves to take their land back.

See, I want to know what will happen to these zones. Another example would be Bloodmyst Isle. If they're updating the content and certain things are going to be "solved" (for example, the druid in the Barrens was doing work to expand oases and they said in Cata they would be expanded), then logically we would see progress with the cleansing of Bloodmyst, as well as the end of the Scourge in the Plaguelands and such.
However, I also think they might keep them the same for continuity issues (which is ironic considering there would be issues even after Cata).

Don't forget the Scarlet Crusade/Onslaught. I am sure they are still around, trying to become a pain in the behind.

I am sure they are still around, trying to become a pain in the behind.Nah, between the assaults on Stratholme, the Death Knight cleansing of Scarlet Onslaught, and the events of Northrend, the Scarlets are almost wiped out; if there are any left, they'll form some new pro-human anti-other race group.
