PvE gear vs. PvP gear, are you kidding?
PvP gear is meant to be better then PvE gear in
PvP
. Yes the res change will make a difference. No more bursting and moving on, its now more tatical and knowing more about your enemy and how to counter.
PvE players can put up a fight, but in no case are they meant to be superior in PvP if they fought someone in PvP gear of equal level.
For those of you reading, keep in mind that I'm not mentioning any class in specific, I'm keeping it that way so you may not misunderstand my post. Please keep that in mind.

No, the change is not that big!
On the PTR i have 900 resilience that adds up to 9% damage reduction. or 9% more HP.
this means it take 5 GCDs to kill a warlock Vs, the 4 GCDs now.

Certain dps classes definitely need more survivability without having a healer around to save them.
The problem is massive cc and burst (rets/locks/rogues) it makes the game suck when u dont get a chance to fight back against these. In a bg there wont be that many healer there to save you.
But for dps classes without ms who already cant kill healers (maybe apart from dks) its going to be even worse attempting to kill one, and youll probably get solod by a healer trying to as they do descent damage, how humiliating is that also.
I dont think the resilience change is a good way to deal with the problem at all.
Damage is hard to change and so is healing as its set up for pve. CC on the other hand has almost no place in end game PvE, id suggest making cc reduce with resilience to 50-70% at resilence cap, plus more dps survivability for those classes who dont have cc and big burst, through talents and cooldowns.

In the end balance needs to mean skill is the deciding factor. For all I care blizzard could collect statistics on classes in pvp then just reduce their healing/damage by a certain percenage in pvp conditions, till things evened out. Simple.

But more people will enjoy the game the more people will play.
By having one or two overpowered classes that leave 80 percent of people ^&*!ed off? Sure there are some rerollers but not allot do.
How does that make them more money?

Yeah its kind of not fun to play over powered classes if u know what i mean. I can beat every class on my dk, and i know i have a good chance of beating them.
Its just too easy and not fun.
