Islam and Hinduism are very close indeed.
Thus most theists are
not
Christian, but the largest faction of theists are Christian.
Read what you just wrote. Seriously.
Most Theists are Christians.
Most Theists are not Christian.
Both are true.

Read it yourself. He said most theists are Christian, which is false. Most theists are Islam and Hindu.
But the largest faction of theists are Christian. However the other religions have the most combined numbers.

Both are correct, because one is asking for the most people in a single category out of several categories, the other is asking whether or not a single category has as many people has more than every other category combined.

Ok... so what are you trying to say then? He was meshing the two categories, so I corrected. I hope I'm not just being dense here...
They're also the greatest force for evil in modern times, so they get my attention.
And how exactly are they the greatest force for evil in the world?

Funden is correct, I think. Christianity is the biggest religion, however, in the combined pool of theist totals, the other religions together out number them.
Most theists are not christian. However, Christianity is the biggest group of theists.

So throughout all of these I hope I haven't burned any bridges or anything.
Even though we believe different stuff I still think you guys are pretty cool, so...
<insert awkward silence>

Aww, I think you're cool too, Funden!
I gave up when they started arguing over semantics.I hardly ever give up arguing... :P
Also, was stumbling through StumbleUpon, and found
this
.
Edit: And Fund, I don't really mind what you believe. I just hate religion as a whole, not necessarily every person who follows it (although I certainly hate many, many of them on a case-by-case basis).

Well, when you get to the point of where semantics are all that matter, it really feels like it's dragged on for far too long (at least, to me it does) . . I'm something of a pathological arguer... :P

Especially Mediator and Squish...

We have.Refresh my memory. What empirical evidence do you have against the existance of God?
no proff of something is by itself a empirical proof that something doesn't exist.
Sorry I just saw this...
Absence of evidence=/=evidence of absence.

We don't have evidence to the absence of God, but we have evidence to the absence of creationism (Abrahmic), and pretty much all five books of Moses, or the Torah, or the Old Testament.

Absence of evidence=/=evidence of absence. Likewise, not being able to prove something doesn't exist in no way means that it does.

I see.
My whole point in that post was to correct Arathian. Just because you don't have evidence doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.
And I've never read the Torah so...
Likewise, not being able to prove something doesn't exist in no way means that it does.
I am aware of this. I was merely correcting Arathian.

Hey, fellows, I'd just like to share
this movie
that I'm watching right now. Whether it's credible or bull%^&* (I suspect a mix), it sure is interesting.
It starts out slow, but it picks up later.
Edit: Also, just because I do not know how credible it is, don't just disregard whatever you don't like. I recommend that you do your own research into the matter.

The Torah is the Hebrew name for the Old Testament, literally translated as law or instruction.
Also, I don't have any evidence against the fact that you're actually an alien in disguise, doesn't mean I think you are.

Part 1 was explaining the origins of modern religious myths, and now Part 2 is delving into 9/11 conspiracy theory. I'm hoping that it goes back to religion, because I really don't know enough about 9/11 to take a real stance on it.
