To be honest, though, it's probably Broxigar's fault the Legion decided to corrupt the orc thousands of years later. I mean, this guy managed to wound a GOD. I don't think Sargeras, Archimonde, or Kil'jadean are likely to forget that, even thousands of years after the incident.
Nope, it was the Dranies. They ran in and the Legion tried to corrupt them into killing the Dranie.

But he's a God, when was the last time he bled? When was the last time anyone was capable of aproaching him and making him feel pain?
That's the problem, though. We don't know. We do know he's a God, but we also know he can be wounded. So in each world he destroyed, there might've been a warrior who managed to wound him. There might've been a world where every inhabitant attacked him at once and managed to hurt him, even if he just killed them in a split second.
We don't know if Brox attacking him was particularly unusual or crushed his fragile little Titan ego or something. Unless you count Argus, we only know two of the worlds that were attacked by the Legion. Aside from corrupting the Eredar, there's no way to know what Sargeras did after being corrupted but before setting his eyes on Azeroth.
