I can't believe they've left Sargeras unchecked since he went on a murderous, emo rampage...
Maybe they expected him to /wrist ...

If the whole Pantheon or Aggramar himself who took over Sargera's post came to Azeroth or wherever Sargeras is couldnt they just kill him and end the Burning Legion ?
I can't believe they've left Sargeras unchecked since he went on a murderous, emo rampage...
PS
- Is it possible Sargeras was influenced by an Old God to turn evil like Deathwing afterwards ?
Or was Sargeras just majorly annoyed from not being given a holiday from the pantheon ?
Sargeras' corruption stems from the Nathrezim (The Dreadlords).
And you can't forget that Sargeras is possibly the
most
powerful Titan of them all, since he was the guardian and protector of the Pantheon before his corruption. Not only would it take the entirety of their power to defeat him completely, it would probably also take an army on a massive scale, since he has one at his disposal too.
I'm sure that he hasn't gone completely unchecked, though. We don't know how many of the Titan's worlds Sargeras has tried to conquer, and how many the Titans have shaped. They could have pushed him back a few times on other worlds, without us ever even knowing about it.

Maybe destroying a Titan has some devastating consequences, unbeknownst to us mere mortals, and the Pantheon has yet to devise some practical way of restraining Sargeras, given that he was the most powerful member of the Pantheon before he went crazygonuts and became even more powerful?
Or maybe they're watching TV.

because some random 10-man PuG will defeat him, duh

if the entire pantheon decided to pay Sargeras a visit they'd destroy him.
Right, but like the first line of my post maybe destroying him would have devastating consequences. Maybe, maybe not, we have no idea, but it's a resonable theory. Maybe they haven't found a way to imprison him
without
destroying him, which would then have those devastating consequences.
That's what I was saying.

Because at 3% health he would say he has seen the error of his ways, give a speech, then dis-appear leaving them with a chest of loot, and while they were scratching their heads, Aggramar goes to off to kill the weakened Sargeras.
