Why does privacy lack in WoW ?

"Privacy?"
Good joke dude.
My gear score, my current level of content completion, my character's professions/accomplishments, none of these reveal personally identifiable (protected) information about my identity. My privacy level is as protected as the information about my real self that I choose to reveal or conceal.
My toon? She's just pixels.
Her gear? Some of it I got from facerolling heroics and getting badges.
Some of it I got by being a pretty decent healer and working with groups of 25 to clear TOC, VOA, etc.
If you can't find a guild or a PUG willing to carry you, and/or you're not willing to make an effort to be a contributing member of a raid, well... sucks to be you.
This. Your character doesn't even @#$%ing belong to you*, inspecting it is not an invasion of your privacy.

+1 internetz for this man. And a cookie.
I actually feel a bit sorry for Cronulla. Seems he lost his way from the official WoW forums.
Oops. I meant "WTB account ban for Cronulla". Damn typo's.

There is only one reason why I am locking this thread: Due to the overwhelming amount of flames that followed the thread's creation.
Whether or not this thread should have been locked from the get-go is completely irrelevant at this point. Almost all responses in this thread were nothing but either trolling/flaming posts directed towards the OP or off-topic posts. That's completely unacceptable. Do you know how much of a hypocrite you look like when you accuse the OP of trolling and flaming when some of you are just as guilty, if not more? Get ahold of yourselves.
If you have an issue with a user, take it up with the administrators and e-mail feedback@wowhead.com. Continuing to flame him—or anyone else for that matter—will lead to disciplinary action against your account. Goodness gracious.
