You're not missing anything. Those are the most negotiable points in the build, and there is a lot of discussion about where to put them. I'd tell you my opinion, but it's a moving target. Pick the points however it suits you, or adjust them as you make your way through different encounters.

Greater heal is still number for number more healing per second than flash heal with Divine fury.

In pvp
Divine Fury
is better then any additonal crit. especially if you have a healing debuff on you. lets you cast greater heal quicker.

It's my understanding that it depends on how you use gheal.
For disco, a talented gheal is more hps then Flash Heal, but less hpm (unless you go for improved healing).
The only thing is gheal isn't a hole lot more hps, but is more prone to overheal and since sustainability is a key factor for a tank healer, a lot of MT healers prefer flash heal, saving gheal for when they know they need it (which is rare).

You know some bosses hit harder and faster than your flash heal can heal for, even with penance every 6.4 seconds.
Just fyi, bosses in Ulduar hit like trucks. Decon, Ignis, and Mimiron can wipe your tanks out pretty quickly.

i haven't had problems with flash heal and penance combo. Its a play style choice once again. Id prefer a % decrease in spell damage taken. If my tank is low then i know that i have talented for a stronger flash heal critical strike chance on targets lower than 50%. That for me, makes flash heal better than greater heal

I agree with Karl on multiple accounts here. Disco isn't just a Flash heal spam, in fact, it really should be the 3th spell on your priority list. First being Penance, Second being Bubble maintaining the WS buff as much as possible on the tank. People can argue back and forth on these two, but it's absolutely higher in priority than Flash Heal. This is getting a bit off topic at this point...

didnt read all replies but Penance eats Gheal by miles...
even the Spell reducing damage is better for Disc in PVE than Divine Fury -.-
spend all the 10 points in tier1 is what I do Renew points are useful and you can't say no to reduced pushback =)
