Who's afraid of Looking For Dungeon?

Here is a little
link
so you can read up about Looking for Dungeon.
I always hear about everyone being afraid of LFD because of the ninjas. But I don't see how it's any different than joining any other pug. I do a lot of pugging and I've yet to encounter a ninja. I'm probably just lucky or maybe it's because I take a few precautions. First of all I look to see that the loot is set to group loot. That's probably the most important thing to do. Try to keep an eye on that. Second of all if anyone is abusive right off the bat I just leave the group. I've had much luck doing this.
In the new system if the loot isn't set to group loot at least just leave. Also if people turn out to be jack asses just leave. As for dealing with ninjas your going to remember them.

The issue is that you can blacklist players on your server, and prevent them from even getting into real endgame guilds. If it isn't your server, that's not gonna happen.
Leave group right off the bat? So I get locked to the dungeon without even getting my badges? I don't think so. I plan on trying it out with a healer friend, we'll carry the three pugged dps. If after the first boss goes down, someone needs on something that they really don't need (not offset, I'm talking not-wearable/downgrades) I'm going to need on every drop from that point on. I'll trade them off to other pugged players if the item is an upgrade.
It'll make getting groups together faster, but the unreliability of groups is going to go way up. It's more anonymous than server LFG, so people that afk/g2g right after the first boss, or refuse to listen to advice will skyrocket.

Ah, here comes a feature I didn't explain well (because I didn't know). You guys sure make me embarrassed of my guide :P
As far as I understand it, everyone can "Uninvite" a player. When you right click a player's unit plate and select Uninvite, a vote is initiated - the other 3 people (except for you and the player in question) get a window that asks them if they want to kick the bad player. I think since they are only, the vote is always going to decide how things happen.
So if somebody steals your item, make some drama in party chat so you can show that the person stole it unjustly, and then as for vote. The player you want to remove will not see anything until he gets kicked >:-]

Maybe a confirmation prompt that shows the party/completion details? Before you enter the party of course.
That'd probably work. It doesn't need to show any detailed information about the group, merely how far long within an instance thy are.
I'm sure there would be plenty of people willing to jump into a partially completed instance. Since it doesn't matter when you start, you still get the emblems and gold from the random daily as long as you finish.
That's another point. If you ninja crap for gold and get kicked, you miss out on the huge load of gold they give you at the end of the successful run. So that should narrow down the number of people who would risk being kicked like that.

I just hope that being kicked for being a ninja/asshat/etc will be more punishing than having to wait 15 minutes to look for a dungeon again.
My idea was to have it double every time you get kicked. 15min, then 30, then an hour, then two hours, etc. You waste other people's time you waste your own, and it'll be hard to get a group on your own server then because people will blacklist other people that have the debuff, "Why would I want you in my group? You just got kicked out of LFD.".

Alright, so let's start a wish-list just for fun:
1) If a player gets voted out by a group, LFD will no longer match the offending player with the offended.
2) LFD should prioritize potential group members so as to avoid loot conflict wherever possible and increase group comp diversity. So, for example, if there are 20 players and at least one of each class in the pool of DPS players available for LFD to choose from, it will choose 3 different classes with priority to classes that use different loot. So maybe it would prioritize ret paladin, rogue, mage - a group comp which should have almost no loot competition as well as a mix of melee/ranged - over warrior, paladin, rogue because the latter is all melee and has two plate classes. You get the idea.
What else?
3) A mix of people with high gear scores, and low gear scores. No one wants a full group of people that just dinged 80 and everyone is wearing greens, but a mix would work.

I hope you're kidding. You want blizzard to segregate people of the same level based on the gear they have?

No he is saying Mix them. Like don't give a group with say 5 guys of 1700> gear score or a group of 1500< gear score. he is saying he would like the groups to be like 1700, 2700, 1400, 2000, 2400. A complete mix(wow-heroes used)

Woah! Hold on, let me save the day again :P
In the 3.3 Guide you can find
this screenshot
. I am not sure if it was for a Heroic or normal, but that's beside the point - the game informs you when you enter a group that has already cleared part of the dungeon.
As far as class balance goes, Blizzard is aware of this. Right now I don't think the system checks classes - only roles. However I think developers mentioned recently that they plan on implementing such check.
Gear score is the only think the system will probably not check, but then kicking players with "not enough" epics is purely elitist - what right do you have to kick somebody's alt who had hit 80 a few days ago, based on the fact that you've been 80 for months and your gear is better? You started low too - even lower, I think.

...4 Shaman's and a healer...
You know that would never happen, right? Shaman can't select the "tank" role, so it might be 4 shaman and a tank.
I wonder how often it would form 5-druid or 5-paladin groups, if there was no class check...
