Which weapon at 70?

Right now im 68 and fury spec. At 70, i plan to respec to arms and of course, use a 2h. Question is...Which one? All of the ones from the quater master seem equal so how do I choose? Should i go for master hammersmith and craft deep thunder?

I think for the most part this is up to. The easier choice is to simply hit the battlegrounds & pick up an epic two-hander. Season 2 weapons are very close to the blacksmithing ones, with Season 3 expanding on the issue.

Well, unless you have ready access to Nether Vortexes, you won't be crafting Stormherald (on par with S2 weapons in DPS) for a while. That leaves you with DT, which is on par with S1 weapons. I want to note that DT also takes 8 primal nethers, which may take some time to get as it would be hard for you to find tanking or DPS spots in greens / blues for heroic instances. So, I'd say this late into TBC where you have easy access to S1 weapons through BGs and S2 (S3 if you get on a good team) weapons through arena, I wouldn't be bothering leveling Blacksmithing - use that money / mats toward your epic flier. Pick up Sonic Spear from Shadow Labs for an easy level 70 blue weapon and grind honor for your S1 weapon.

As far as what type of a weapon (sword / axe / mace) - there are plenty of discussions on that, and all of them pretty much end in one thing - noone agrees. So you're going to have to see and decide for yourself which spec you prefer most.
