Which seal do you guys use for trash tanking.
I have been using seal of wisdom but as my dodge/parry has been going up seem like bos seems to give me more then enough mana.
Been thinking of using seal of corruption on trash since i just picked up
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47661
for my ret set and 250 str would give me more tps/dps and make the heroics faster.
Then there seal of light which i only use if the healer is complete fail or seal of rightous which is alright but does'nt seem to do alot of damage.
Also a question about what addons you guys use for tanking right now i just use omen/recount and am doing fine but some addons that help with tanking would be great too:)

<insert seal here> for tanking trash always because HotR procs it.
Seals are supposed to be utility, use it as such, low on mana? Pop SoW and spam your hammer. Need threat? Pop SoV and spam your hammer.
All your teammates dead save for a LOM healer
and dps? SoL and keep on trucking.
This thread is not about PvP. If you're doing PvE and all your DPS can die and your healer can go OOM and you keep yourself alive and kill all the mobs with SoL, why does it matter what seal you're using? Obviously you're doing @#$%-easy content.
Really, it's the situation that warrents the seal, unless, of course, you're sitting with a full bar of mana after every pull, all the time. Then feel free to put up whatever you want to add threat.A tank's personal mana efficiency comes AFTER threat. How could you even be going oom while tanking to the point of needing SoW? Again, it would only be true in cases where the content is so easy that it shouldn't even matter... Even then, you should just pull more groups so BoS can keep your mana up.

How do you go oom on aoe pulls? I pull aoe groups when i'm low on mana just so i can fill my bar up.

The only time i used a seal other than SoC/SoV , was when we were doing 4 dps 1 tank heroic runs . i used seal of Light .
thats it , never used wisdom when Sanctury + Divine Plea are up all the time . i never even used judgment of the wise !

I'm assuming Sealweaving is a 1337 term for switching between seals..?

Use that Valiance libram for trash tanking (but not boss tanking), and therefore use SoV, because you'll get extra block from that libram, which is nice when you have 5 or 6 mobs bashing you for small amounts of damage. At the same time the extra strength will give you a bit of extra Attack Power, and after 3.2.2, a bit of extra Spell Power.

Alright, so that's seal weaving (which, by the way, I thought was impossibly now they've taken out all the interesting seal/judge effects), but why not? Is adapting to a changing situation somehow a bad idea?
Because there is absolutely no need to seal weave in a group environment. As pally there is no reason for you to ever be low on mana in a raid/dungeon, and Light will not keep you alive. SoV/C= more personal dps = more threat = more group dps = things die faster = you take less damage.

Agreed. Swapping seals at <L50 will help occasionally, but in 80 dungeons, it's not going to make a difference.
If your DPS dies and your healer's low on mana, you will wipe. If your healer dies, you'll wipe unless you're in a position where you can down the mobs quickly. If you die, well, it's all pointless then, isn't it?
You could go without seals and it probably wouldn't make a difference.

I've been in many situations where I had to use SoW to keep my mana up, due to the lack of avoidance/ability to pull multiple mobs, this happened when I just hit 80 started tanking heroics with quest blues and craftables.
And then I realized this was back at 3.0 when sanc didn't grant any stam bonuses so I had to kings.
All good :)
Even during 3.0 though, we didn't really need to have kings. The extra stam is nice, of course, but unless your heroic healer is letting you get down to 2k health, it doesn't actually add any real value.
