When WoW loses it's draw

So, I see this topic posted on almost daily and I thought I'd make a post to address this.
What's that? You're bored with WOW? Well, here are some suggestions:
Level your professions.
Level your secondary skills.
Complete some of the achievements. Get one (or more) of the titles.
Run dungeons, even if the gear inside doesn't help. Do it for the FUN of it.
Run some battle grounds.
Collect your PvP gear.
Collect some mounts.
Start an alt.
Make some gold.
Create a guild and try to manage it.
Join an existing guild and meet new people.
Collect armor you think LOOKS cool.
Set-up a group and raid an area belonging to the opposite faction.
If none of these appeals to you in the least, take some time off. Notice, I said take some time off--not go to some forum and complain that WOW has lost its draw. The game has 12 million subscribers, so clearly you're one of few who are bored. Perhaps you come back, maybe you don't. The outside isn't the enemy, nor is it blasphemy to try a new game!
Also, Wowheaders, if you feel I left out a viable option to cure boredom feel free to post it!
Alright, whoever, can we get this stickied so we can stop having a new post about this every other day?

Quit
Done and done
If someone actually manage to get bored with Wow, they are probably playing too much. After I quit Azeroth, life got better, and I don't think its a coincidence.
How about a list for what you can do
outside
Wow?
Learn another language
Learn to play some instrument
Hang out more with friends
Spend time with your girlfriend / boyfriend (or get one if you don't have a lover)
Enjoy the sunny evening with beer, a camp fire and loads of people, instead of DKP, "move out of the fire" shouts and a raid.

Create a guild and try to manage it.
Join an existing guild and meet new people.
Joining a guild and meeting new people is a great idea - the bit about starting up your own guild I disagree with.
Starting a guild shouldn't be something you just do on a whim, especially if you're nearing the point where leaving the game soon is a very real possibility. While it is
just a game
, when you take it upon yourself to try to lead (or "manage") a guild, you're suddenly dealing with not only your own enjoyment, but also all those people that you brought along for the ride. Inviting them onto an already sinking ship and ditching them at the last minute is incredibly selfish.
That said, if you're growing bored with the game for whatever reason, you probably should just take a break. You can always renew your account later, it's not going anywhere. Trying to force yourself to play is only going to lead to further burn out, and suddenly you're the one preaching on message boards about the oh so wonderful real life epiphany you just had.

Two things you forgot:
Quit.
Take a break.
You don't *have* to play wow you know...
Actually, I didn't forget quit/take a break, it's in that paragraph under the list.

Fair enough, Kalisha, I didn't think of that. I'll take it out.

By the way, guys, I read a report that they confirmed it. There's life outside Azeroth. They found it on this planet they're calling Earth. Apparently, there are humans there, too, but no trolls, orcs or tauren.
Oh! Point of interest: You can actually have sex with the females of this planet, Earth.

Everytime someone says they are bored with wow I just throw this up, it's not that they are bored it's because they are not imaginative.
Your level 80, you have a few options
You gank lowbies
You gear up for raids
You get PvP gear
You Level an alt
You Level a Death Knight
You take a break
You do Achievements
You work on your professions
You explore the worlds
How to do these
This is easy, just go to the Nesingwary camp in Stranglethorn Vale and wait
Run heroics, if you don't know which heroics, audit your character with wowheroes
Start doing battlegrounds, this can be fun and boring depending on how your faction is doing
Create a new character and start playing them, very easy
Create a Death Knight and go from there, this can make money and also be very fun
Your level 80, congratulations now take a break, and think of how much fun that was
Find critters and start to /love them, this is the start of a
long strange trip
Spend lots of money at the auction house for the materials you need, get more money then do it again
Open the map and pick any random place, then go there

Wrong! You, of all people, should know this--I'll roll a Priest and mind-control you out.
