When to respec

As much as I love the shadow tree, and leveling with it, i started my priest (now 55) so that i could pvp heal. Of course he was started when dwarfs were all pro(only fw), and arenas didnt exist yet. I played on the ptr and such an i realized that a disc heavy arena spec was both enjoyable for me, and extremely good. I want to respec sometime in outland, and start getting some decent holy gear, so that i can have fairly decent gear to start arenas with at 70. I see a lot of priests respeccing at 65? not sure why? maybe they got a good base of shadow gear to hold them for the period they collect some holy stuff, and repsec when they have enough of it. Can anyone whose done this themselves give some advice?

Well tbh there are no point of respeccing into holy till you hit 70. unless you arent able to heal people, but i suppose you are able to. even with blue/green gear it shouldnt even be a problem to heal most lvl 70 instances as shadow.
The only reason i see to spec holy before 70 is if you're lvling with 2-3 friends and run around and 2-3-4man instances which are way above your lvl.

EDIT: just make sure you have solo gear and healing gear, dont "fuse them together" and use them as one=p
