I started to play wow in early BC, my first toon was a palla that i lvl'd to 80, and at the time i didnt read forums and such, i was the biggest noob ever, i later decided to roll rogue, start looking up forums for tips and such and absolutely loved the class. At lvl 64 or so in EOTS we were camping the alliance start place, and theres that little ledge below where a mage and hunter were gunning us down, i stealthed shadow stepped and ambushed the mage for 3/4 of his/her health :D

I just decided to make a rogue, I wanted to make a druid but my mate was almost a lvl 70 druid (TBC was recently released) and i didn't want to be the same as him. At first it didn't care too much about the class, but I got bored of rogue when I got some levels however when i got engineering it all changed and I started to love playing rogue, combining my tools and gadgets with my skills, I found it fun using bombs instead of gouge and then backstab, also i tried getting high burst by doing: Shadowstep, Premedation, Ambush, Kidney Shot, Gnomish Death Ray. also when I first got my Death Ray I wanted to test it, the one I tested it on was a pro lvl 39 twink or so... i was around that level too, probably higher but badly geared. I KOed him easly and I didn't even know he was pro xD he owned me after i found out tho but this is going off-topic.
I decided i loved playing rogue when i became a "Rogue Engineer".
Edit: I also played rogue to level 6 (lol) on a different realm because I didn't know what realm my friends used.

I fell in love with my rogue when I was questing in STV. I had run into another rogue that was combat and he kept saying I was spec'd wrong for PVE. After the first time he saw me 2 shot an enemy he decided to shut up and said that on second thought he could see the appeal. Seems no matter what spec you choose for your rogue there is a definite bright side in both PVE and PVP.
I was wondering when someone would mention PvE on this thread... seems most people roll Rogues for PvP.
For me, I loved my Rogue since level 1. I just loved using Sinister Strike, the combo point system, the free energy regeneration..... previously I had tried to level a Mage in TBC, and that's a nightmare having to drink every 4-5 mobs. I also liked running to my enemies on my Rogue, not running away from them all the time.

First time I fell in love with my rogue was my first raid. PvP takes a backseat I rolled this guy to top the charts baby....and by charts I mean Omen.
