What would a Holy Paladin gem for, assuming infinite mana?

Okay, I don't play Holy Paladin, but this is something that I want to ask. On my server, every Holy Paladin I see gems intellect. Now, as a Resto Shaman, Intellect is gemmed for until the Shaman can comfortably replace those gems with 20 haste gems. However, it seems to be different with the Paladin.
Under 80? Gem intellect.
Fresh 80? Gem intellect.
Geared 80? Gem intellect.
BiS geared Holy Paladin who can heal HMs without going oom? Gem intellect, so it seems...
tl;dr: Is intellect the best throughput stat? Assuming that regen has a value of 0 for this example.

Spellpower is the best throughput stat.
Intellect is the best stat considering throughput and mana.

Why gem for intellect? Because it effects all our good holy stats. From the Faq above:
Generally, intellect is our number one stat. Get a lot of it. If you already have 20k mana you're just starting to stack intellect. It increases your mana pool, your spell power (through talents), your mana regen (through Replenishment, Divine Plea, or any other spell or ability that returns a percentage of total mana), and your critical strike chance. Which in turn increases your mana regen slightly.

Because paladins
still
aren't at the point where they can
spam
hasted holy lights non-stop indefinitely.
So more int is required.

For a Resto Shaman int gives us pretty much the same thing - bonus crit, SP, and increased regen from Mana Tide. Yet we don't stack it so. I said infinite mana because i'm talking top end gear - I just don't see how the hell you'd go oom with full raidbuffs and an unbuffed mana pool of over 33,000.

We're assuming mana is completely not a problem, so you can throw mp5 out with intellect (And technically spirit, but that wasn't worth considering in the first place). That leaves crit, haste, and spellpower. Probably depends on level of gear, but I assume if we're discussing infinite mana a person's gear would be fairly good? That would probably put spellpower out; after a while your heals don't need to get that much bigger. With spellpower high enough to be officially classified as 'good enough', intellect would offer almost none of the side bonuses it offers besides increasing your mana pool, so that's definitely out. Between haste and crit I would definitely say haste until at least the soft cap. After that, would it be worth trying to bring HL down to one second? If not, or if you'd already done that, and it feels weird to say this, you'd probably gem for crit.

To quote a favourite line,
that's
why
you don't go oom

increased regen from Mana Tide
It might interest you to know that mana tide, with respect to just the caster, is only one fifth as effective as divine plea.

We only need to spam it for 3-6 min

Assuming mana pool and regen aren't of concern, Haste (to soft cap) gives the most HPS increase, or should anyways.

That is right, but for 5+ minute boss fights you need Int to make regen not a concern.
Also innervates are fun!

mana
.
That's not a conservation talent, that's a mobility/crit talent. You already linked the only relevant talent.

Sorry to troll.
We have a running joke in guild that all classes MUST GEM for SPIRIT.
Assuming mana is not an issue, I would go with Haste. I heal BGs and i just wish I could pull faster HLs every once in a while.
If you think this is trolling, you don't know what trolling is :P
Personally I think SP is still king of throughput even in PvP. Holy Shock and IoL'd FoL don't use haste :D

Even with 33k manapool and full replenishment, its not hard to empty your manapool if you want to.
So we stack int.
Edit: If i had infinite mana, i would gem for haste probably.
