Only two Racials I can think of that would matter on this would be for Orcs and Humans - Orcs have the increased ability with Axes and Humans get better results from Swords and Maces (after patch 2.3 it'll go from increased skill with said weapons to better chance to crit). Would recommend that you take Blacksmithing unless you intend to PvP your backside off for the arena weapons, as the BoP weapons at the end of that godawful leveling trip are well worth the trouble.
Playing a Troll warrior as I do, I went 2h Swords with a Lionheart Blade - the haste bonus from Berserking combined with Flurry, Death Wish, extra attacks from the spec, and my haste trinket... it all does some neat things all told.
Regarding enchants, Savagery and Mongoose are both good choices depending on what you intend to do (I'd say Mongoose on both weapons if you dual-wield since both weapons can proc it that way, and Savagery for a 2h.)
