My opinion: anyone who QQs about getting ganked is automatically transferred to a PvE server. Moreover, upon QQing about how easy raids are, they take 10x damage from all enemy mobs in a raid.

I don't have issues with ganking way out in the wilds. You're on your own there. What always drove me nuts was not being able to turn in quests, fly away, and so on. I'd love to see better defended towns, perhaps a response that scales with the level of the attackers.
Take Hillsbrad, for example. What if Tarren Mill and South Shore each had defenders actually capable of defending the town? A few casters, some melee, and actual healers, all NPCs? All elites, level cap + 2 (i.e.: Level 82 Elite at the moment)? What if they worked in concert to seriously beat down the attacking players? No loot would be dropped, because if there were, you'd need to have the defenders on a respawn timer, else the loot would be on constant farm.
Sound fun?

The only problem with the dishonorable kill system is that it has already been tried in wow, and (I can't recall exactly why) it was removed. While some of the ideas are pretty good, I would imagine they would be resistant in reviving the old DHK system and would rather take a different look at ganking resolutions.. if it even registers highly on their list of things.
I think they removed it bcs it made raiding city or small places not possible then introduced, if my memory serves you got alot of honor lost per 1 DH(Dis honor) kill. So city raiding suffered greatly or any kind of pvp like the Southshore and Tarren mill fights.
Who wanna raid grp a city if it is gonna cost weeks of honor:)
But i agree with the points postmaker is saying, they should introduce this again in a better format, so it does not affect your honor points but more like affect hoe much an arsehole you can be per day.
At least they can end corpse camping if a sort of penalthy per time killed was introduced, lets say. you can kill x player 5 times per hour, then target gains an immunity against you. Immunity only last if said player does not try to hit or spell cast the player who caused immunity.
I do not think a pvp server equals Gank lowbies all times, corpse camping them make you so cool:)

I'm just gonna chime in on this one. I have only played on pvp servers since vanilla wow. Ganking and camping used to be a lot worse. To me, it doesn't make sense to give someone dis honor for killing the opposite faction that is sorta at war. PVP is 50% of the game.
Here's my idea. A trinket or item that is given as a quest reward that can summon an elite guard. It can only be activated after you die from a member of the opposite faction thats a Certian level higher than you. And while its active, you and the guard can not receive or give a killing blow from the opposite faction. Its only there to get you from the area.
Bottom line, gank happens. When i get camped, I'll check my e-mail, grab a sandwich, whatever. If they really want to grief, let some guildies know and log on an alt.

I am currently working on a machine that allows you to falcon punch through your screen, and it will come out on the other persons, destroying their face and blowing them through the next wall they hit. I also have a blue print for a Saurfang cleave and chin block so it cannot be used against me.
