you might be surprised and using Talisman of the Alliance instead of a healing boosting trinket, but against any worthy opponents they are probably all trying to kill you. 34 resilience on a trinket is huge, and the use effect gives you other healers a few secs to pick you up again and often saves your life. Nice short CD on it too (2 mins).

for pve healing i got no idea.

PvP prolly Kaitain's suggestios are obvious....

For PvE it depends what you can do...for example if u can go Kara and kill most bosses http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28727 is a very good option for long fights and http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29376 is godly and not too difficult to obtain as it doesn't count or drop rates and so but your own progress only....If u haven't reached Kara yet http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28190 is very very good and http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29376 again or http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30841 which far too easy to pick
