1. Snare trap: places a wire trap that tangles the legs of an enemy mob/player halting movement for 5 secs and then slowing movement for a further 10 sec.
2. Pit trap: drops enemy mob/player into a hidden pit of spikes preventing movement and dealing XX damage each sec for 5 sec
3. Trip line: a line trap that allows the hunter to plant one end of a trip wire at one location, run it across to another location making a hidden trip line up to say 10 yards long (or so). Enemy mob/player running through the trap triggers an alarm and an explosive charge doing xxx damage. (Take that stealth rogues in pvp - yes I am bitter :P )
Like the idea of the Snare trap. It maybe looks abit like Chains of Ice, but he, that abilitie is ranged :). The pit trap should have some sort of stun effect (let's say if you fall in a pit on spikes, you won't be able to cast a spell normally for a few secs). And the trip line... It's actually an Explosive Trap with maybe a bit longer range. What would be awesome is a trip line that automaticly dismounts the target, reduces movement speed for 3 secs and leaves a small bleed :)
An idea of myself:
Snipe Shot: 3 second cast, 35 - 60 yard range. You shoot at your target, dealing 75% weapon damage.
Just a shot to shoot at those targets just a bit too far away.
Surprising Shot: 1 second cast. You send in your pet together with a shot, catching your target of guard and dealing 125% weapon damage. If your pet's first attack hit, the target is automaticly dazed. Can only be shot when out of combat.

Smoke trap: lay's down a trap full of smoke wich will be realesed if an ememy target approaches it. 15 yard around it, the area will be covered in black smoke, causing the enemy to lose sight (similiar to 'completely smashed', with the effect that turns you slowly left/right on too) for the next 15 sec. Enemy around the smoke will also get this debuff. May cause additional effects, such as falling on the ground or lose control of character for a short time . (Not really needed, but would be more cool)
Great idea about the two pets at once, but It would suck if Blizzard would set it in BM tree, without buffing it or something like that

- Increase the range of disengage :) No way jumping away when with two step any class can reach you again... And let wait when 50% of people reroll to a Worgen and get a rogue sprint :/
You don't need to be a rogue to get a sprint. Be an engineer and tinker your boots. I'll add the link later. I'm on the bus again.

What about transparent pets for allys and player in combat? They could only be clickable on heals. All the damage spells would allow players to click past the pet. Another option pets could shrink while in combat.

I would like to see pets shrink while in combat or turn transparent to allies and only be clickable by classes with helpful spells.
I don't understand how pets could shrink after they get tamed but I should be grateful for pet size. Have you ever seen a new dwarf hunter with their pet in Ironforge and compared it with your pet?
