Glyph of Chain heal instead of Riptide.
Drop Healing Focus, toss the points into Elemental Weapons.
I wouldn't do either of those things. Chain heal will not bounce 4 times in 5mans. And less pushback is worth a whole bunch more than +45 healing.
As far as a new trinket goes, the new five man drops a
fantastic
one in normal mode. Also, wowhead's armory of
you
is a bit more helpful.

H ToC is actually supposed to be on par for difficulty with Ulduar 10. So it is supposed to be more difficult than the others. But most of the other heroics should be good; my first heroic was HoS, and I healed it with about 800 sp.

Agreeing with this. Although I don't have Healing Focus, it's worth far more to you than Elecrap Weapons.
I personally think the glyph of riptide isn't worth the paper it's printed on, just because the HoT effect is so meh. It's a far more powerful tool for chain heal buffs, tidal wave procs, and a fast intant mini-heal to give you a buffer while you get a HW off. I use
water mastery
, which I found particularly useful for starting out heroics - meant I could let the group keep pushing without having to stop and drink so often. Still incredibly useful in raids, with the long fights.
There's also a
snazzy mail belt
in ToC normal, which I highly recommend as an upgrde.
You seem to be on the right track with gearing/gemming, so no worries there. Remember to enchant your gear though. I don't know if the armoury is being silly, but it's showing your
head
,
shoulders
,
back
,
chest
,
and
shield
as unenchanted. That's a lot of buf^&*e you're missing out on. Oh, and try and grab a
belt buckle
for another gem slot.
Again, don't know if it's the armoury, but
this totem
will do you far more service than the one it's currently showing (also takes about 10 minutes to get if you don't get ganked and camped while doing it).
I tried the wowhead profiler, but couldn't make head nor tail of it, it wont let me right click things. : / Using Firefox, is that the issue?
Shouldn't be. I use firefox and have no problems. Is your firefox up to date? And are your plugins etc up to date? That could be it.

In general though, you should be good to go on most heroics, bar ToC I think. If you're a smart player you shouldn't have too much trouble.

It's not the wrong way to go about things. There's very few
wrong
ways to heal (although early in Wrath I noticed a lot of shaman ESing themselves in instances.)
The Riptide glyph is not that great because Riptide already lasts long enough for you to keep the HoT on two people, three with T8, meaning you have to actively make sure you don't over-write the HoT in order for the glyph - to boot, it increases the duration to 21 seconds, a number that is not divisible by either Riptide cooldown and means that one of those HoTs is going to drop off or be replaced early.
The reward for your troubles is a heavy demand on your GCDs in order to juggle the Riptides, heavy mana-inefficiency, and a good portion of over-healing while other classes' cheaper and better HoTs do the job anyway.
LHW offers better mana-efficiency while tank-healing, CH is just incredible with the changes to its bounce range, and HW can reduce GCD loss when recovering from a raid AoE (I use it to get free heals on Vezax :D) - Riptide offers the least reward in any situation, and to get any reward at all you have to actively work at it.

Is there any addon bars that would allow me to show say my ES points left on a target + the time on Riptide left on a target
I use ZOMGBuffs for that. It's primarily a pally buff tool, but works across all classes (as far as I'm aware). All I have to do is make sure it's tracking the tank, drop ES on him, and then forget about it. It shows me the timer and charges, makes a loud noise when the charges run out, and the best part (particularly when I'm raiding and not tank-healer) is that I just hit the buff box to rebuff. No need to hunt for the tank :)
Also, as I use healbot it also shows me ES and riptide counters.
And yes, IMO, the belt from ToC normal is of much more value to you than the one you have (understand your reasons for taking it, an upgrade is an upgrade).
