Hello, I am Sludgepoison, my Warlock, cerish, on the moon guard realm has always pvp'd with destruction spec. I like it but I am seeing more and more top end warlocks with an affliction spec. Is this really the better spec now? If so does anyone have a good affliction spec I can look at? I have only ever raided with Affliction, and although I know the basics, would like to make sure i am not missing anything. P.S. I am mostly thinking in terms of arena...2v2 bracket. thanks.

My composition is actually created as a joke and for lolz...its a disc priest and Warlock. We went in not meaning to win anything, even named ourselves "Fail for Fun is Win." Thing is we won about half our matches and got to 900 rating lol...guess the joke was on us. We are still not out to get top rating or anything, but we would like to at least compete.

I usually play Destro.. The instant burst on the healer usually has them healing themselves while my team mate goes after the other player. Join in and drop him then back on the healer..
Affliction i found was great for constant damage while i ran around avoiding being hit. But my team mate wasnt that good at kiting so while i was running around DOT'ing everyone he usually end up dying maybe taking one with him.
I think Affliction in 3v3 or 5v5 might be a bit better.. but i am not in one of them so i cant say. But in 5v5 being able to DOT everyone... That's gotta be a plus..

You make a good point, for a 2s team with double dps that sounds like a solid plan. However, my teammate happens to be a disk priest, therefor making sure i can keep constant dmg and outlast my opponent seems to be the key. I have tried both specs now and both seem to grant us the same number of wins and losses. Just plays out differently. Thanks for your input guys.
