Bogorzz halted the arrow midflight and sent a stiffening spell at her, Mordecai, Silencia, Vrak and Lotti -
Sorry but it is necessary to maintain your cover, Vahij.
Bog was very angry with himself now. He had let his rage with the mortals overcome him. This whole fiasco could have been avoided if he had controlled himself. An now his cover was blown. But perhaps this was for the best; now the adventurers would think that the spy had been uncovered and removed.

Ilthadris raised her hand towards the incoming spell and unleash her Arcane Torrent upon it. Absorbing the energy from it. "Thanks for the meal." She said with a cocky tone.
Then she summoned a long vine to atempt to grab Bogs foot and try to slam him back on the ground. While Ilthadris will be waiting to shot a arrow to his face the moment he hits the ground.

Theresa Oakes
The Barrens
"How the %^&* can I miss all the time?"
was the thought that ran through Theresa's head when the demon was yanked away from the path of her blade.
She hadn't completed the forward motion of her attack when the spell hit her right in the face, and the paralysis propagated like an electric shock. Before she could react her own inertia brought her toppling forward, and it all ended in a spectacular but thoroughly embarrassing faceplant.

That's one...
though Bog, noting Theresa's fall before turning to face Ilthadris, "Your welcome." The vine burst into flame and started hardening. Bog then unleashed a fel-laced Arcane Torrent, absorbing energy and magic from Ilthadris that would leave her as weak and helpless as a three day-old kitten.

"So you're not going to kill me," Drenn swivelled round happily, meaning that the spell only hit the arm holding the sword. Staring with shock at his arm, Drenn tried to turn to the demon but couldn't as his left leg was frozen as well. Doing an awkward pivot, Drenn exclaimed, "What fouls sorcery is this?" As he realised the entire left side of his body was frozen in place.

Aaysea Greenbow
Lor'danel, Darkshore
Aaysea's mother closed the door after the two, following them into the living room.
"Is dad - is father - home?" Aaysea fidgeted.
"He's been recalled to Hyjal," Ilez'diela Greenbow responded, watching her daughter expectantly.
"Oh," Aaysea mumbled, "there's something Axton and I need to tell you..."
For a moment her mother struggled to maintain a neutral expression, folding her arms and looking sharply between her daughter and the human. "What is it?" she asked, doing her best to keep up the appearance of being calm.
"It's - uh - well, we're planning on going away for a few weeks on a - " Aaysea gulped nervously, "- quest."
Ilez'diela exhaled subconsciously, a twinge of the relief she felt becoming apparent upon her visage, then shock and finally, horror. "Absolutely not; you are not ready for it," the ancient mage responded instantly, in a tone that offered no argument.
"But we have to - I can't just stay cooped up here forever!" Aaysea protested, looking to Axton for support.
Her mother merely sighed and shook her head, "were you any older you would understand."

"Now that's much better," Bog landed and shed his disguise, taking on his true form of a Dreadlord, "Allow me to formally introduce myself... I am Bogorzz." The Nathrezim strode among the frozen adventurers, "Once I have finished my business you may continue my search for the Artifact. All except you..." Bogorzz turned to Ilthadris Ravenoak

"Is this true?" Izel'diela asked Aaysea quietly, only to receive a meek nod in response. The ancient elf examined her daughter's expression closely, unable to find any evidence to the contrary, before turning to Axton, "and what do you know of 'danger,' might I ask?"

"As annoyingly pathetic as you are," began the Dreadlord, "you are the most powerful of your companions, Ilthadris. So you must be removed. I wonder," said Bogorzz with an amused smile, "how your companions will react to your death, ranger?"
The Nathrezim shrugged, moving closer to Varyn, "That spell, Drenn," said the demon, glancing at the half pinned human, "Is a handy non-lethal paralysis spell."

"I think not," Bogorzz flicked a finger in his direction before turning back to Varyn. A red beam of light fell over Drenn, causing every single nerve of his body to explode with pain.

Drenn cocked his head at the Demon's words, somewhat confused, and then felt his nerves exploding with pain. Screaming, he writhed awkwardly before the pain seemed to vanish. Vanish it had, from Drenn, but it was still wreaking it's havoc, oh yes. It was wreaking it's havoc on the Dreadlord, or at the very least should be. An arc of fire flew from Drenn's hand, in the direction of the demonic megalomaniac, followed soon after by a bolt of lightning, that would follow the Dreadlord. However, this meant that Drenn had to stay stock still.

Utter shock blanketed the Dreadlord's hideous face, but only for second. It was replaced by a mask of steely determination, "A sorcerer! My, my, what a devious twist of fate!"
Bogorzz was smiling outwardly, but inwardly he was straining hard, Drenn's power nearly matched his own...nearly. Cords of green flame pushed the seeking lightning bolt back, keeping it away from him. The fire he was unable to avoid; it struck the invisible shield that surrounded him; cracking it and turning it a translucent purple. The demonic sorcerer unleashed a jagged red spike towards Drenn.

"I never did say I was a sorceror did I? No, just using what little long-range power the fantastic thing called chi gives you." Drenn smiled, a smile that was quickly rubbed off as the spike went through his side at the same time as the nerve pain came reattached itself to him. Gasping, Drenn dropped down to his knees, clutching his side in shock. He managed to dampen the pain before his body sagged, the elemental spellcasting draining him, and he felt dizzy.
