And it's a good thing other stuff came up, otherwise they would have had to send Garona off for her excution at the end there.

I say yes, cause if we killed his mother, I really doubt Med'an would be feeling too charitable to help the Alliance or the Horde, and considering what's coming, I think we need the new Guardian.

Medivh said at the end of the last climate that a guardian is no longer needed.
Im still going to keep my hope Garona gets killed by the ghost of Llane, or Varian... or both :) Muhahahahaha!... And there is like a dozen heros in Warcraft that grew up orpaned, he would be fine. If Med'an was a orpan, mabye he would stop being such a boring Mary Sueish character...But Garona was mind controlled. By killing her you'd just be killing a rape-child that had been magically mind controlled since birth and has nearly escaped.
She had no choice in killing Llane. She liked him.
Edit: Don't forget Maraad, I don't think he'd be happy either.

Last issue of the comic had a spirit Medivh appearing to Med'an and telling him to come to Karazhan, so I'm guessing they still need a Guardian with, again, what's coming. Of course Med'an is friends with Anduin so..... wait that sounds familiar heh, Llane and Medivh, Anduin and Med'an.... hmmm.

Arthas was mind controled for years, lost his sanity, and everyone knows it. He descended into his own madness, it wasn't till he picked up Frostmourne that the Lich King could talk into his mind.
I dont really care if she was born by rape, she destroyed dozens of familys.
... And when she gives Med'an to Meryal, she sounds sane to me.And she was... to a point, seeing as she gave him to Meryl because she didn't trust herself, and was worried she would hurt him at some point. As proved though, the mindcontrol is still there, that's how Cho'gall could send her after Thrall and Varian.

Difference between Garona and Arthas:
Garona was practically born with the mind-control, it wasn't through her own actions.
Garona is a good person when in control of her actions, as evidenced by her working with Llane, Lothar, and Khadgar.
Garona shows remorse for her actions, while Arthas showed none.

Going back to an earlier part of this post, again, thank you Skreeran for posting these pages up here. I've not managed to get ahold of a copy of them here in the uk, so its great to see them here.
Taking particulier intrest in page 15:

In this, the bells that is rang for me was Garithos, his bigotry towards the blood elves and other non human races couldn't simply be passed off with someone saying 'oh he was a good general', it was his undoing in the end.
Varian now goes on the level of refering to all orcs as the same, as savages, as him saying about Garona 'full or half, an orc is an orc, and your blood cannot be trusted'.
Tell me theres nothing twisted, delusional or bigoted about this fool people call a king, and him saying it in the face of one of the most noble and wise orcs on azeroth, who in the next few pages shows his friendship with Jaina is still strong.
I can tell you now, even if I was an alliance fan, I'd not want anything to do with this him. Thrall did everything he could, he showed decency when faced with trying to find peace here, but he would not stand back and have his people be insulted by a messed up rage junkie like Varian.
Varian here proves he doesn't think anymore clearly in a battle crazed situation, he lacks wisdom, foresight and reasoning on the same level Garrosh does.. and yet people want to put him on the similar level as Thrall?
Thats like comparing George Bush with Martin Luther King.
He even told Jaina he was begining to like Varian, until he turned into Garithos on him.

Yes, thanks Skreeran!
Thrall, in that part, says: "Perhaps I was wrong to expect better from a human." That falls right after he berates Varian for racism. He makes the same mistake, and lumps all humans in with Varian, in the heat of the moment. Even the wise Thrall makes this mistake, and it takes Jaina to stop their quarrel.
The summit falls apart due to the attack, an attack that is psychologically directed at Varian.
As I read this, he is fooled (and the writers take good care to make sure he has every reason to fall for this on a human level; his father's death and his son's is invoked), he is not consciously deciding to be a bad man.
And that is why I accept Varian. Because the writers seem to want me to. He never dehumanizes himself. You can relate to him. And there is no denying he is a strong and popular leader with his own people. They wouldn't want anyone else. If Stormwind was a democracy (perish the thought), Varian would win in a landslide.

Lord of the Clans Thrall clearly understood that humans can be good and honorable just as orcs can. I can see Garrosh, or even a higher up like Drek'thar or Nazgrel saying that, but not Thrall.
I don't particularly like the comic writers.
Secret son of Medivh and Garona my ass... *grumble grumble*

I know exactly how you feel Skreeran. I remember when Toby in the West Wing (by far my favourite character of that series) leaks confidential information to the press. Totally out of character, and throws him right out of the story for the remainder of the series.

Thrall was acting pretty racist, and Jaina was sitting right next to him ffs.
On what page exactly? I didn't see Thrall being racist.
