WoW Head says that you obtain Cruel Barb through pick pocketing Van Cleef (its on his "Pick Pocketing" tab NOT the "Drops" tab). Is this the case? Cruel Barb obtainable through drop or pick pocketing? If its the later how high must you be to be able to successfully pick pocket him w/o agroing the guy? My rogue is only lvl 11 atm and im gonna have someone run me tonight to get the Blackened Defias Armor and 2 Barbs, Van Cleef is a 21, is it doable for me? pick pocketing wise?

You cannot pickpocket a cruel barb from Van Cleef.

BUT...is it that the barb IS a drop or that I am too low to get to him? And for curiousity's sake... what feasably is the range between my level and the highest lvl i can stealth around successfully? like how many levels above me at any level?

Or you could just let your friend running you clear it out, you stay stealthed outside till you get to VC, then they kill him once you get in and up to VC, less xp required XD.

ok... ran it 3 times... 3 cruel barbs... no Blackened Defias Armor.... cruel barbs arent rare lol the damn armor is rare. Sux thats it BoP i have the other pieces i farmed on my hunter lol
