I know they havn't released the talent tree's yet but they have the talent tree's on the PTR so if anyone has recreated those Tree's i would really appreciate it.

They'll most likely be updated when patch 2.3 hits (this tuesday if all goes well).

There was a thread about this a little while back but I can't find it just now. The gist was that they kept on top of it back when that was nearly all there was here. Now that they're busy working on all the stuff
here
and
here
and other stuff we don't even know about not to mention the fleet of moderators and editors and hybrids of those and admins and admins doing stuff that goes to keeping the data clean (see
this
) -- when features increase in quantity and complexity as staff remains nearly the same, keeping on top of things with prescient-like alacrity is harder and harder to achieve :\.

The "Wowhead of the Past" was only a talent calculator. :)
The site has grown a great deal in the last year, not only in terms of features but also in terms of traffic. The site staff, meanwhile, has NOT grown--I've had the opportunity to join the team, but at about the same time Evilseed went on to other things, so we're still just three guys, and only two are coders. We have not only a database to upkeep now, we also have the forums to maintain--and there are still a lot of forum features we're still working on.
We're trying to streamline the talent calculator and make it easier to update. We're aware that the talent calculator is still something that users love Wowhead for--We'd kind of lost track of it in the fuss about the forums. We'll try and focus a little more in the future.
Edit: Pelf beat me to it. Embarassing.

Possibly true. We might have bitten off more than we can chew. That said, though, I LIKE the forums. As such, I think the better strategy is to gather more resources, which is what we're working on now. :)

Yours had much better use of paragraphs. Equally embarrasing for me. Maybe it was just the soothing blue color, though...
How did you like "prescient-like alacrity"? I was pretty jazzed about that one.

i wish you all the luck with that, in the meantime, I hope that you not lose sight of what made people want to visit this site and return. this site wasn't made popular by a 'forum community' but by it's utility.
Definitely noted. Hopefully the utilities we have coming will put all doubts to rest. :)

Utility is why you're the top =) The talent calculator, the coming Profiler, the clean database, the clean interface. The forums are useful primarily for this specific forum, Site Feedback; the rest is merely an amusing diversion.
