Start with some low level instance to try to get some gear and work the way up, or get a friend to lend you some money and start with craftables.
Whichever you chose, it's basically back to whatever dungeon you can do with your current gear, up till you get enough gear to enter the next.
If you didn't quest much while levelling it'll also help a lot, or you can try to get carried through instances by friends

Create a Death Knight, complete the starting quests until you leave the instance, and send all your DK's monies to your Priestess.

This. You can easily make 250g before leaving the DK starting area.
Also, if your priest has a good fishing skill, you could fish and do fishing dailies. Mats for Fish Feasts are always in demand.

I'd suggest not stopping with your DK after you level out of their starting area. Keep going in Hellfire. DK's are OP while leveling and you can blaze through Hellfire / Zang in no time if you use a quest helper, like QuestHelper or Carbonite. Loot everything from every mob and vendor it all. Scraps and gray items might seem like a hassle, but when you have 0 gold, every bit counts. You'll make a few hundred gold easily. I think I had around 1000g by the time my DK hit 65ish.
From there, I'd suggest searching Wowhead for easy-to-get items that are level 70+ and looking up the mats for any crafted gear you can use. You can get geared in maybe a week or two if you do your research on what items to get and where to get them (For example, having a guild mate or two run you through Outland instances for gear to start out with...or something along those lines).
Hope that helps, and good luck!

Or if you just bought thiis toon and have no idea about any of this stuff that should be kinda obvious, all these ideas will let you get used to your character ^_^
;) The OP started out by saying they got their toon restored from a deletion but had vendored all their gear before leaving.
As an aside, we just had a Paladin who deleted their character and left 2 months after WotLK dropped come back to the guild; Blizzard was able to restore the character with 90% of their gear and about a quarter of their gold.
The easiest way would be to borrow money from a friend and buy enough craftables or junk greens to get ready to run some instances/heroics. The second easiest would be to roll a Death Knight and farm the gold from the starting area, mail it over, delete and repeat.

The subject says it all.
After some months away from the game I got Blizzard to undelete my level 80 holy priestess.
Trouble is, before deleting her I sold absolutely everything and gave it to the guild.
I'm wondering how I'm going to get back up and running given that have literally zero gold and I am not even wearing any clothing!
Guess I'll have to try killing humanoids with my bare hands and see if I can pick up some silver that way.
If you gave it away to guild, they will not be happy to give it back, so when you contact Game Master do not tell him that you gave it - try to lie that you had it on you when deleted.
and check wowdetox, too

Do you still have the Professions? Or did you unlearn them when deleting a char?
Seems kind of strange not to have any Professions on a 80 but oh well... Try doing some fishing dailies or something
You could always try to kill Hogger and get the Epics he drops, but on the other hand that will probably just raise your "Deaths by Hogger" in Achievements under the Statistics tab xD

Look on wowhead for some good items that are rewarded by quests. You should still be able to do quests, you will just have a bit more downtime.

They have logs. They can and will check. Lying just makes them not help you at all - possibly resulting in a ban too.

That's just completely false.
I've done the DK area several time and I usually don't walk out with much more than 20g.

SM Cathedral is your friend.
I'm a 46 paladin and I easily make over 100g in just a few runs through (with a level 70 DK running me).
Sell the greens on the AH for around 3g 50s buyout.
The cloth, sell on AH and undercut the competition by about 50s.
You should be back comfortable with money in no time.
