I would say no, because most aoe pulls are downed rather quickly and most likely won't benefit from having UB up an extra 10sec. While the ghoul will constantly be putting out more damage and survive longer.

UB scales better than DC and is basically like a crit DC guaranteed, especially on stationary fights like Patchwerk and Thaddius where you're always in range of the boss for UB.
The Glyph is basically a 50% increase to UB. It makes it last from 20 seconds to 30 seconds. Let's say you're extremely judicious about using UB in your rotation on every boss (note that we're just talking bosses, not trash) and you do, say, 500 000 damage with UB. This is an easy number to achieve especially with lucky procs and good trinket usage. Now, 50% increase in duration may or may not equate to a 50% increase in damage it deals (I'm not strong enough in math to determine this I don't think), though I would lean towards probably a 30-40% increase. So, that's a 150 000-200 000 damage increase from the Glyph.
Note that this is JUST considering bosses.
Your Ghoul does MUCH more than 500 000 damage on bosses in a 25 man. This can easily be seen in WWS logs. In the most recent one I have, I would estimate my Ghouls did 2.5-3 times that amount.
Does anyone know if the Ghoul receives 100% of our Strength un-Glyphed? I have a suspicion it does, but my simple tests from stripping gear don't show much other than some rather weird numbers. However, I think the Ghoul only gets 1.6 AP from Strength rather than 2.
