Wait, doesn't it tick, like, every 3 seconds? It was changed again?
On a sidenote, it's pretty stupid that it doesn't simply render the Shaman immune to fears. Every other CC mitigation mechanic kind of does that.

tremor totem has a range of 30 yards, and character movement speed (running, 0%) could probably cover that in 3-4 seconds (estimation). so that gives the enemy a 1 second window in which to fear you, that would negate the totem.
e.g -
tremor totem ticks
1 sec :warlock casts fear (assume its instant)
2
3
4 sec : shaman hits the 30m mark
5 sec: totem ticks
thats how it works out on paper, does it happen to anyone else?
Your assumption is that the character is dead center of the tremor totem. Which is highly unlikely in PvP, and when you get feared you run in a random direction.

My tremor totems don't survive vs good locks anyway - they all have pet macros that target and destroy them.
The biggest problem with tremor totem IMHO is that it is an earth totem just like stoneclaw.
WTB a tremor totem with more than 5 hit points.

It is VERY possible to get feared out of range before it ticks (has happened in PvP and while testing it in duels with lock) As marathon said a "Good" lock will have it killed before you can do anything about it.
It is especially easy to get out of range if you are trying to kite and move away from the totem. Tremor Totem has always been a better PvE totem for me the PvP especially know that Earthbind can root.
