If you pull aggro as a healer, either your tank is dead or he isn't tanking at all. Your DK was bad.

Healing aggro should never be an issue. Well, maybe on p3 Anub heroic when your OT doesn't have Misdirect - but you don't have to worry about that for quite a while ;)
The thing is: You have to heal. You just can't not heal. Healing generally doesn't produce much threat. Tanks that get threat pulled off by healers just plain suck. You also shouldn't skill the threat reduction talents as healer, it's not worth it. Any half decent tank will be miles and miles ahead of you on threat.
Basic blame in dungeons:
Tank dies, blame the healer.
Healer dies, blame the tank (your case).
DPS dies, blame the DPS.
(And on a wipe blame the Hunter.)

Except that, this being the druid forums, you basically have to put two points into the talent to progress up the tree anyway. And some people put the third one in simply because your other option is a tiny mana reduction on one useful and two seldom-used spells.

This is my first post, so bear with me... this is my take on it. I've been through this type of situation. And I agree with the other posters, with a half-way decent tank you should never draw aggro... but at low levels the tank might still be learning his class. With a hunter in the group there are lots of opportunities for the tank to lose aggro, some hunters enjoy being jerks and pulling aggro from the tank... at which point aggro might land anywhere including you. Once again a good tank can overcome this. If you are running with a noob tank and decide to stick with the group anyway there are many things you can do about aggro. First, you can feel out how much time your tank needs to get aggro by holding back on the first heal for a hit or two... let him take some initial damage. It's better with this type of tank not to keep him topped, let your heals work overtime. Better he sits at 60% with aggro then at 100% without it. Be ready for the occasional emergency tho =)... Then too, if you draw aggro, if you are a night elf shadowmeld is your best friend... if that doesn't work then barkskin or better yet natures grasp and run away. If necessary kite the mob to the tank, then run out the other side. You can also cyclone a mob, which will knock you out of tree form, but will keep it off you for 6 secs while tank grabs it back. As a last resort, throw a rejuv on yourself, go bear and back off until the tank grabs aggro. This means you wont be healing during this time, but if it keeps you alive.... A macro that tells the tank you have aggro can also be useful. Bad tanks are stressful, and ultimately there are some groups its just not worth healing.... if that's the case, leave. Once you have reached a level where you are raiding this problem should not be happening anymore. Hope this helps =)

Yes, as a Druid you basically have to waste 2 points in there to get to the higher tier talents. But there is no reason to waste the 3rd point, no matter how bad the alternatives are (and Revitalize is actually pretty good).

I was actually referring to the fact that some people take a third point in Subtlety rather than 1/5 Tranquil Spirit to continue progressing past the 15-point tier.
