About: Increase the shaman speed when in range of totems(10% per school for a total of 40% speed increase)
The main theme would be using totems to both buff and increase the effectiveness of the shaman.
40% inc speed would be to OP, and completely unfair to other classes, not to mention a retarded idea.
Totems already buff and increase the effectiveness of shamans.

Hear me out on this one. What if, at a certain point in your tree, you were allowed to spend points in a talent that would give you passage into one of the adjacent trees. For instance, after you reach the 30 or 40 point talents in enhance, you could skip over to elemental and level it from its 30-40 point talents. That may not be the most effective application of this method, but let me know if it's an idea worth any merit. And if not, present another idea that may improve how to hybridize and personalize classes.

my goal in saying this isn't to redesign this class in particular, its an idea for all classes. More than that, the underlying theme in the entire thread is how to possibly implement a design that is both balanced, and malleable to player preference. Whether or not the class is changed is not the objective of the thread, how you would change it, is. Furthermore, the conversation on this thread evolved to be more about talent trees as a whole rather than "make everyone DK's."

To the OP.. someone brought up a great point.. What about classes that are strictly DPS? (Mage, Rogue, Warlock, Hunter)... that leaves a ton of classes in the cold while you're revamping the classes that DO have duel or even triple functionality (every class that i didn't just mention).. what do they get out of this revamping of this revamp?
