To Roll [and get griefed] or not to roll.....

So, here's an interesting question... Should the advancement of the guild outweigh a single characters advancement in acquiring a second set of gear....
The past 2 weeks in Karazhan, my guild has seen a lot of Healer Drops. I, playing as a Moonkin Druid don't need them every day, but when I'm asked to heal for something, and have the desire to do so, it's nice to have a set of gear in bank to back me up. All of our healers are well-geared, and all passed on --nearly-- every drop. After the healers drop, the druids (two moonkins), were asked if we wanted to roll, so, we did, and I won the rolls several of those times.
Tonight, they started griefing me about rolling on healing gears after I said I'd --prefer-- not to respec Resto, ever, but if we were desperate, I would. Is it so wrong to pursue a back-up gear, in the off-chance of a respec, or a necessity to heal in a 5man? Or am I getting riled for no reason?

if no one else needs who cares if you take them instead of another most likely redundant void crystal?
nuff said, they asked if you wanted them right? so it's just an extra for ya

Better looted than sharded. If someone can get some use out of something, then they definitely should.
