I am at max level but what the hell am i supposed to do...daily grinding till till that dismount over a cliff looks like fun? try to BG until that 2hr BG Que comes up and we try not to get pounded in by alli as it seems no other horde person on my server knows how to BG and lawl who cares i can join another in 1 min after we loose. maybe i will raid and wait on 4 other people to show up then "DC" while they are on vent....while in game...and maybe wipe a few times go get dailies to pay for repairs. although i could gank alli's in darkshore i feel that i am now stereotyped due to the fact that rogues....do it from behind...alas the arenas the time you spend trying to get gear to find that you have 80 2v2 pally teams that just love! to aoe a rogue... :( .....so is there anything I am missing?

I've been playing for - oh god I just realized it's almost 3 years. Have I stayed on constantly for that time? No, I've taken breaks of anywhere from a week to 3 months. If it starts to feel like I'm going to work - I take a break, before I start to dislike the game. Despite the breaks I have a tank (pally), healer (priest) and dps (lock at 80. Tank and healer are up to doing naxx 25 content gear wise, though right now mostly getting friends and allied guildies caught up in their gear. I'm getting into 10 naxx runs to help lead the 10 and 25 runs after I'm familiar with the mechanics from healer, dps, and tank perspectives. (I only know the tank aspects atm). For me, it feels good to be able to help out.
I alternate which toon I favor. If I'm in the mood to blast stuff to oblivion, I get on my lock and quest a bit. If I want to run into the masses and survive the impossible, I hop on my tank. And if I want to help groups get through those heroics in one piece, I'll log on my healer.
If I feel like being left in peace and just piddle, I hop on a low level alt and relax a bit. Sometimes doing those easy low level quests on a class you've never played can spark your interest as new abilities come up
Or i'll look over my achievements and set out to get one, figure out the most practical way to do it.
And as someone said, find a "levelling" guild or at least one that doesn't neglect their non-80 members, make friends, and quest together. Doing BGs and quests can be a lot more fun when it's not just you.
Basically - there's a lot more out there than quest grinding and each day something different may appeal to you. Level fishing, see about getting a group to try for the baron's mount or the zulian tiger, join a BG for fun. It's not a job, it's a game. If it starts to feel like a job - take a break, your toon will still be waiting for you.
