Timbermaw Hold in Cata?

After looking at
the map of the zones being overhauled in Cataclysm
, one thing stuck out at me.
There's a brand new zone between Azshara and Winterspring, bordering onto Hyjal. Based on readings and in-game experience, that seems to me to be exactly where Timbermaw Hold is currently located. With a
huge entrance in Azshara
already in place, in roughly the location that the new zone is being placed in, it would seem to make sense that that new zone is
Timbermaw Hold
. Or is at least somewhat related to the
Timbermaw furbolgs
.
This leads me to believe that the Timbermaw tribe may end up playing a much more significant role in Cataclysm, especially in the fight against Ragnaros at Hyjal.
However, Wow.com states that the new zone is
Darkwhisper Gorge
, currently a part of Winterspring. WoWWiki seems to support this theory, but there are no citations to back it up.
However, if this were the case, what happens to Timbermaw Hold? I mean, we all know the Goblins "nuke Azshara from orbit", but surely they couldn't/wouldn't just remove Timbermaw Hold? With the massive battle taking place at Hyjal, I would assume the furbolgs would want to be involved since that whole area is kind of a big deal to them. Their tunnel system runs between Felwood, Winterspring, Moonglade, Azshara and Hyjal, so it seems like it might be useful to open up more of to players in Cata, but I could be sorely mistaken.
Thoughts?

You got it wrong. The new zone between Azshara and Winterspring is where actually the demons in Winterspring are (Darkwhispers Gorge). No timbermaw there.

Well thanks for reading the first paragraph...
The occupied portion of Timbermaw Hold is to the west, bordering Felwood, Moonglade and Winterspring. Not to the south ^^.
The unoccupied portion of Timbermaw Hold spreads up to God knows where and according to lore is occupied by demons, undead and cursed abandoned furbolgs. But its not enough to become a whole zone by itself.
Perhaps it isn't enough to become a zone itself, but it still leaves the question unanswered of what will happen to the part of it in Azshara. Maybe it is overrun by demons and satyrs, but surely they couldn't just remove it entirely? Maybe it will serve as a passage through to Darkwhisper Gorge (although that would be kinda sad considering all the lore I'd love to see fleshed out behind the furbolgs)?

One think to keep in mind though, is that Blizz won't be reusing any factions from Azeroth, so it won't be the same Timbermaw Hold that you already know, if the furbolgs do come into it.
Of course, of course. :]
Maybe it's possible that the Timbermaw Furbolgs would help out the Cenarion Circle and the two would join to create a new faction? Since it would seem likely that the Cenarion Circle should be playing a major role in the protection of Hyjal as well.
