I'd definitely go for Talisman of Resurgence. As a paladin, you really don't need a TON of haste, because of, as stated above, the yummy 15% haste you get for free.

300-400, haste is not important at all because of delicious free 15% from judgment.
I would never gem for haste, but getting more haste from gear is a decent thing to pickup. I prefer haste and mp5 type gear.
The Holy T9 4 piece is crap for HL spammers.

You want to get to the haste softcap... it is 687 i believe.
That lowers the GCD to 1 sec. (actual cap is 1640, but with all the raid-buffs and your judgement haste you only need 687 from gear)
For a FoL build that is all the haste you will ever need.
For HL, the moar the merrier.
Remember... haste is your #1 throughput stat.

676 rating.
If you're focusing on HL that doesnt matter though. You'll be aiming for more still to push down the cast time of HL closer to 1 sec.

You sir, are mistaken. You need 682 haste to hit the 1 second GCD soft-cap raid buffed. This is including judgements of the pure, the shaman spell haste totem, and the ret/boomkin haste buff.
Up until 682 haste, haste is the best stat for HPS. Haste past 682 still reduces the cast time on HL, but has no effect on FoL oriented healing due to the GCD being capped at 1 second.
You only want 4 piece T9 if you are going with a SP/FoL oriented healing style. Otherwise, you'd be best off with an off-tier helm, shoulders, chest and legs.
Hrm, don't pigeon-hole yourself with spell selection based on your gear. Stick with gemming Intellect. Take the gear that you see as an upgrade, a higher ilvl, and
YOU WILL BE FINE.
Any piece of plate SP gear was meant for a Holy Paladin. There are no caps that are necessary to hit or aim for. Take what drops and be confident that with those pieces you're perfectly capable of healing the next tier of content.
There is no point (in progressive raiding, where your gear is being challenged) that you will be able to lean on Flash of Light and SS as your healing output on a tank. You need the resources to sustain yourself for as long as possible through the spikes in damage that you see, and you'll need to be able to handle it with as little help as possible. Intellect has so many tiny pieces of other stats tied to it that it's the best thing to gem for.
Haste capping? Everyone's being theoretical and ignoring practicality. It's embarrassing! Yes; it's nice to have haste. No; having a deficit in it isn't affecting your ability to heal.
Get the tier pieces if you have bad luck with raid drops. I opted for the badge shoulders instead of tier ones because I didn't want to take a trophy when I wasn't struggling to deal with the content anyways. I tend to think having the DPS and tanks grab upgrades is more important than healers, because well if you cleared it, your healers don't need anything else. Our set bonuses aren't that great. You're not at a loss without them.
