With a little glyph'ing, Paladin tanks actually have 2 "shieldwalls":
Glyph of Salvation.
20% less damage on a 2min CD can really come in handy, and have saved many wipes for me so far.
and the Threat reduction? i am usually way ahead of the DPS'ers in threat, and if not i just ask them either to use their own threat reduction, or get another pally to HoS them.
but yes, we really got screwed with this 4pc bonus
We have a feral druid in our raids that has insane tps. He is in the area of 5500-6k dps, but is right on the tail of the tank on a pretty regular basis. Before the nerf to RF, I was always way ahead of him, but recently, if I let up on my rotation even a bit, he is close to passing me.
I dunno what it is that he's doing, but his threat is nuts. It's the same when I am playing my boomkin. The threat coming from my boomkin is pretty insane too. I wonder if it's just the class.
The point I am getting at is if I cast hand of salv on myself, I will be passed by atleast one person. The other thing is, the more tps you have, the more HoS will reduce. I suppose, if we had enough pallies, we could have them throw HoS on the top two tps dpsers and that might help.
I'll have to give it a shot some time. It will be hard to give up one of my current major glyphs though.
