You'd have to get a nameplate mod. Aloft is one of them. I'm not sure of the rest offhand.

Not sure if this is even possible... The Threat API only provides information for the mob you're currently targeting...

@Wanderingfox: Does it? I'm pretty sure if there's a valid UnitID, you'd be able to query the info for it.
@killahemp: No, it wouldn't.

Doesn't Xperl display threat meters on the targets of the rest of your party if you have party targets dislayed? Shouldn't be too hard to include threat on nameplates, maybe color-coded? (From Green = no agro to purple = Full agro)

target, targettarget, targettargettarget... you need to either be targeting it, or someone in your raid needs to be targeting it (and the later is rather resource intensive to loop through).
edit:
isTanking, status, threatpct, rawthreatpct, threatvalue = UnitDetailedThreatSituation("unit", "mob")
Where mob is a valid unitid representing the mob you wish to receive threat info on, and where unit is a valid unitid representing the unit who's threat on the mob you want to look at.
unitid is the same unitid used in the macro conditional. There is NO way to provide accurate threat information on multiple mobs at the same time without you manually changing targets, or looping through target chains (targettargettargettarget) and raid targets.

WoW's internal threat function should help somewhat. If you turn it on, the mob you are about to pull aggro starts to glow yellow and you should see "Changing Target" text appear on the respective mob.
When I am tanking, I use both Omen and the WoW one due to the functionality mentioned above. I can see which mob I am about to lose threat on when they start to glow. During my non-raiding, heroics days, I only used the WoW. Started using Omen once I started raiding.
You have to treat any add-on giving information about aoe threat carefully. Omen used to to do it but stopped since it was using increasing CPU usage and it is against the new add-on policy of Blizzard.

Resource hogging aside, is it even possible to consistently link nameplates to unit IDs? I am quite certain nameplates can only provide the unit's name.
Anyways the way TidyPlatesThreatPlates does it is gauging "low", "medium" or "high" threat by the colors the default function for this designates to the plates. Quite convenient and probably lighter than calling UnitDetailedThreatSituation as well.

Hmm. Aloft seems to show a lot of info, but there aren't any screenshots of multiple mobs' nameplates with a complex configuration; so, I'm not sure if it works for not-targeted mobs.
