Patching was never so smooth imo.
Same here. Didn't take too long to download - 15 mins maybe and I was done, something like that anyway. Obviously my add ons didn't work and I had trouble getting on Curse to get them which I expected. Decided to download the Curse Client installer and it sorted all my add ons out straight away.
Happy days :)

this'll cheer you up if your patching is taking ages, or your realm is not up yet, or your Ulduar raid is glitching...
2 hours of patching and i get a message saying i don't have enough memory. this is on a 2 year old laptop, so i can't say i was surprised, and for several previous patches i have gradually been stripping back the software on my laptop till i now have little more than WoW and an internet browser. I will keep trying till i'm blue in the face, but I suspect I will need to buy some RAM, or a new PC, to be able to play WoW whenever I want.
On the plus side, my boyf has a new PC... I will just have to flutter my eyelashes and hope he will let me use it to raid sometimes in the evenings. So take comfort, all you lucky folks playing WoW without any trouble by tommorow... at least you don't have to use you feminine charms to bribe your fellow gamers for time on their PC. Thank goodness he's a handsome chap... I just hope he miraculously loses interest in Eve Online...
:D
Heh, least you have a computer.
Tea (as in, the drink) was spilt onto the keyboard of my 2 year old laptop (ran WoW "fine" at 10-20fps lmao, playable for me). It stopped working altogether, waiting to see if insurance will cover it.
Now to some, a few days or weeks off World of Warcraft might do me good. But to those who know me (no one here, I'm sure) you'd probably know that I don't spend all day playing WoW.
I spend all day in front of a laptop monitor yes, but not playing WoW. No laptop = no Adobe Photoshop. Which means no more graphic design nor updates to my website's design, which makes me really frustrated.
