this'll cheer you up if your patching is taking ages, or your realm is not up yet, or your Ulduar raid is glitching...
2 hours of patching and i get a message saying i don't have enough memory. this is on a 2 year old laptop, so i can't say i was surprised, and for several previous patches i have gradually been stripping back the software on my laptop till i now have little more than WoW and an internet browser. I will keep trying till i'm blue in the face, but I suspect I will need to buy some RAM, or a new PC, to be able to play WoW whenever I want.
On the plus side, my boyf has a new PC... I will just have to flutter my eyelashes and hope he will let me use it to raid sometimes in the evenings. So take comfort, all you lucky folks playing WoW without any trouble by tommorow... at least you don't have to use you feminine charms to bribe your fellow gamers for time on their PC. Thank goodness he's a handsome chap... I just hope he miraculously loses interest in Eve Online...
:D

Well here's my version:
So, 2 hours to download the patch, it's on the computer - great! Now I log online (after wating 3 hours for my server) and UI Nightmare! Okay, remove all addons, replace - one mroe hour. Now, I jumble together some more friends for a 4 hour late MC/BWL raid, we get almost to Luci when.... just I get knocked
Sideways
into the lava from a surger - the server lags and instances crash at the same moment a boss in Uldaur is downed. We are all stuck in MC, even when we close WoW, we are still shown as online. Finally, we can get out of MC, we regroup... but wait! We can't get inside that same instance, each and every one of us that was in MC, is now saved to EVERY INSTANCE IN THE GAME; but no, we don't even have normal raid IDs, they don't consist of numbers at all, but instead "@$#&^%$" kind of thing. Being level 70, I am saved to (among others) Naxx, Uldaur, EoE, VoA, OS etc. etc.
Have a nice say! =)

I spent 2 hours downloading the patch the day before. I applied it before I went to bed.
I got home from work, logged on and fiddled around with talents and glyphs, and kicked some Wintergrasp-bossx2-arse.
Yes, some people definately have it worse off than me. :-)
